  • ENGLISH INTERPRETATION: Here's Rosas Pandan Coming from the countryside To celebrate with your festivities. "This Balitaw is my livelihood An inheritance from my parents A most ancient song The pride of our hill country It's nice to dance our Balitaw Like a dew in the cool morning. Tikadong Tikadong Tikadong Dodong is staring (peeping) at Inday He is drooling madly from intense desire First two paragraphs repeated twice before moving to last two paragraphs in sequence. Hope this helps !

  • Very nice. More power to you.

  • @leonarddc thank you!

  • Correction, the lyrics or words is not "dong-dong" but "do-dong". I'm a Visayan from the Philippines but I'm very happy they sing my native song.

  • @sagitarian65 Thank you for your correction!

  • @cypresschiu

    dodong means friend

  • @fazaoaii - Dodong in the context of this song is the name of the young man drooling ( Cebuano and Filipino word of "Laway") on seeing this young beautiful lady by the name of Rosas Pandan as she showed off her dancing in the way her forefathers did generations ago. I do agree I loved the facial expressions of all the singers and the words were correctly pronounced as a Filipino would have done so, and you are not even remotely from the Philippines. Thank You for song version. BEAUTIFUL !

  • you sang it very well! great! cheers from Philippines! =D
