All Godzillas have massive weight advantages over both Gameras, but Showa Gamera can eat fire and radiation, and Hensei Gamera's fireballs are very destructive and his Mana Beam is absolutely devastating. I'd give it to Godzilla, but it would be a closer match-up than one would think.
Now I know I only used two of Gamera's enemy's but they are the only one't that I feel that can kill a FULLY charged Gamera. So, With all of this being said, I hope that you all will take all if not some of the things I've said into consideration the next time you decide who would win in a fight between these two and not just go with Godzilla just because he has a longer history or if your just a die hard fan. So as fans let's give both consideration before making our final decisions.

It was only defeated by Gamera LUCKILY plunging a arm made of pure energy into it's chest destroying it major organs.

Keizer posses the same powers as King Ghidorah only enhance by an unknown number, has superior size to Godzilla, is strong enough to throw Godzilla around like a rag doll and can drain all of Godzilla's energy to the point of death if latched on to long with its three heads. The only reason he was defeated was with a huge (possibly infinite) power boost from his human allies.
King Ghidorah: this monster has had many origin stories so I leave it to you to decide how he came to be. K.G. has greater size and strength to Godzilla, flight and the ability to fire gravity streams from all three of it's heads to cause damage or to lift massive object of the ground. K.G. has fought Godzilla on many occasions in various 'universes' and has shown that at his strongest makes Godzilla need aid from either other monsters or humans to survive.
Hedora: this monster was made from pollution in the world and was one of the first monsters to nearly kill Godzilla. Hedora poses greater size and strength than Godzilla, emit poisonous fumes that can severely injure him and has also shown that he can withstand Godzilla's breath weapon to the point of minimal to no damage. The only reason he was defeated was because of humans aiding Godzilla in dehydrating him to nothing but dust.
Space Godzilla: this powered up version of Godzilla has all of the same powers of the original Godzilla but enhanced by an unknown number and posses some of his own including flight and the ability to create crystal like structures to increase his power or to use as projectiles. The only reason this monster was defeated was because of humans and their machine Mogera aiding Godzilla to destroy Space Godzilla's main power crystal.
Now how about we look at monsters that can just kill Godzilla if he didn't have help.
Destroyah: this monster was born from a project that was designed to kill the first Godzilla in 1954 and posses an energy horn and an energy beam that has been shown to be able to cause major damage to the point of severe bleeding against Godzilla. It also has superior size and strength to Godzilla. The only reason he was defeated was because Godzilla was dying and had a huge power boost.
I'm tired of hearing everyone say how powerful Godzilla is compared to Gamera since he's won against more monsters and 'stronger' enemies than Gamera has, even though many of Godzilla's are just plane pathetic. Now I'm a big fan of both of these monsters and they are both very close to being equal in power with Godzilla having a slight advantage with his sporadic (since it never comes up after his battle with Biollante much) healing factor.
I like the idea, but the only problem with it is, is that Godzilla hasn't ever been known to "play" well with others. I do have to give you props for the way you edited it together. The one thing is though, the only monster's that Godzilla needed team ups for were Ghidorah, and the original MechaGodzilla, but he's already proven that he could take them both on alone.
@ghwplx5 I agree the big G does not play well with others, but even at the end of Final Wars he needed a hand. Plus the creature I have in mind for this is so devastating that only the two of them together could defeat it. Thanks for the props, too. I spent a great deal of time on it--like 40 hours or more...which is about 16 hours longer than pros spend on the same amount of footage--or so I'm told by my producer wife.
@sbwolves72 Haha, damn dude you've got it made, and you're very welcome, and yes he needed an energy boost in FW, but they didn't actually help him Kaiser Ghidorah. He did that all on his own, just got tired, because he did like 20 fights in the same day, or something like that.
@ghwplx5 So, this monster would have to be extremely powerful, especially if you're using the GFW, Godzilla, as he was pretty much what Godzilla has always been an unstoppable force of raw power that can defeat any opponent, so in that sense Gammera would really be of little help, especially when you compare his enemies to those of Big G's there really weak, and lame in terms of power, and ferocity.

@PokemonMasterAsh02 The only intentional music I used is the Godzilla theme from Godzilla X Destroyah. The music cues in the beginning were parts of the original clips I chose and could not, for lack of tech ability, remove.

Awesome! Who doesn't love Godzilla and Gamera! Camp and destruction. Well I hope Godzilla does come back in 2014 and I hope they get it right in hollywood this time. For God's Sake don't take it so serious, and for Godzilla's sake don't turn him into a t-rex from jurassic park. Part of the fun was the rubber suit! ;0) Gamera is my real fav tho! I completely agree Bohemimom...this was meant to be a Hollywood-style trailer: setting up action and conflict. the mythology i am employing in the screenplay/novel I am working on (part of a trilogy, actually, with this as the 3rd book) takes into account exactly what you mention...with a little bend on its ear. This would indeed be an awesome film...but I do tire of the descriptors of Godzilla comes to destroy;Gamera comes to save...isn't anyone else here old enough to remember the very first Gamera movie???? (60's or so)...He was busting up Japan so he got shot into space...it's his 2nd movie in which he protects people, esp children. And Godzilla has saved our butts a number of times too....

@Xengix008 I would consider making it a stalemate (why?) Simple if your using the most current versions of both monsters, you know that Gamera's Mana Cannon can kill Godzilla.
In all the three series Godzilla proven vulnerable to mana/earth based weapons or powers. (note: Mothra, King Ghidorah (lightning) and King Kong).
Also Gamera grows stronger from heatin all its forms (like fire, heat, flame, o add nuclear to that list.) Other than that its good just my thought, I will still see it.

The Godzilla monster suit days are over. Toho is completing a deal with a North American studio to bring a series of Godzilla movies to the big screen in full CGI. I'm hoping for a fresh start but with another monster thrown in.
Really, again? God, they better not do like they did last time they let America make Godzilla. That movie should have called anything BUT Godzilla. Good movie, but NOT Godzilla. The suits where it's at.
Unlike the '98 version, this one is a co-production with Toho. I think they learned a lesson in giving away the rights without their involvement which is what they had done in '98. This insures that Godzilla will be Godzilla and not some lame lizard.
@Snapscape the jap godzilla made by toho will be returnin in 2014 they are waiting for his 60th aniversary to release the next installment... but til toho makes films with him again the legandary films version will have to do to fill in the time

Awesome! Who doesn't love Godzilla and Gamera! Camp and destruction. Well I hope Godzilla does come back in 2014 and I hope they get it right in hollywood this time. For God's Sake don't take it so serious, and for Godzilla's sake don't turn him into a t-rex from jurassic park. Part of the fun was the rubber suit! ;0) Gamera is my real fav tho! A flying turtle that can scream..and save little children. Love him.

I completely agree Bohemimom...this was meant to be a Hollywood-style trailer: setting up action and conflict. the mythology i am employing in the screenplay/novel I am working on (part of a trilogy, actually, with this as the 3rd book) takes into account exactly what you mention...with a little bend on its ear. This would indeed be an awesome film...but I do tire of the descriptors of Godzilla comes to destroy;Gamera comes to save...isn't anyone else here old enough to remember the very first Gamera movie???? (60's or so)...He was busting up Japan so he got shot into space...it's his 2nd movie in which he protects people, esp children. And Godzilla has saved our butts a number of times too....

Roars of most Japanese monsters are so beautiful but that of US Godzilla

if i was to do a godzilla vs gamera, thats exactly how i would have done it. both of them joining forces to stop a bigger threat. it would be better as it would appease both sets of fans. if i had to choose though id go for gamera=P

@Xengix008 I would consider making it a stalemate (why?) Simple if your using the most current versions of both monsters, you know that Gamera's Mana Cannon can kill Godzilla.
In all the three series Godzilla proven vulnerable to mana/earth based weapons or powers. (note: Mothra, King Ghidorah (lightning) and King Kong).
Also Gamera grows stronger from heatin all its forms (like fire, heat, flame, o add nuclear to that list.) Other than that its good just my thought, I will still see it.

For the love of God will some director please make this dream come true for me? I want a gamera and godzilla V.S film like now. Before I fucking die I mean come on godzilla fought kong and it was a huge hit even till this day it is considered a classic. Now with the technology of today and effects imagine a Godzilla V.S Gamera movie? I would buy a ticket for everyday it shows for however long it stays in the theater.

I respect both monsters, so If i make a movie of this... Id make them join forces: ''after Gamera almost gets killed by Godzilla's red spiral beam, an evil force attacks them from space... The monster teleports them into an asteroid field and they battle... after the space battle, they get teleported back to earthand fight the evil monster's true form... they defeat him and leave the desolated Tokyo behind''... The Godzilla monster suit days are over. Toho is completing a deal with a North American studio to bring a series of Godzilla movies to the big screen in full CGI. I'm hoping for a fresh start but with another monster thrown in.

Unlike the '98 version, this one is a co-production with Toho. I think they learned a lesson in giving away the rights without their involvement which is what they had done in '98. This insures that Godzilla will be Godzilla and not some lame lizard.
