I can remember listening to this as a little girl on our record player while my mom was busy in the kitchen, looking at all the present under the tree that was covered in angel hair (anyone remember that ) what a beautiful thing that was to me, my mom singing along, I miss you mom so very much. PLEASE Gene Autry fans...does anyone remember a record by him called Christmas Cracker? It was so beautiful! If you can tell me where I can hear him singing his version of "Oh Little Town Of Bethlehem" and other Christmas songs, I would be SO grateful. Christmas just isn't Christmas without Gene Autry. He takes me back to my childhood Christmases. I am such an old fashioned sentimentalist I guess. sigh!

@cathcrops I lost my record many years ago. Thanks to Amazon I was able to buy it again. You have no idea how happy I was to hear this record....this very special part of my childhood, once again. Christmas really IS Christmas for me, again. What is it about Gene Autry? I love to hear Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole singing Christmas songs, but no-one else quite hits the spot the way good ol' Gene Autry does. I am a sentimental kind of guy, I reckon. Hey...I don't care! haha!
