  • same sad story here.. as killzone 2 2005 trailer is not overtaken by actual games.. This graphic is not in real time and directX11 never give us that graphics. Maybe with DX12

  • @aldoskyz8 Mind explaining what the graphics are rendered in if not dx11? Unless you're talking about real-time rendering, then you have no idea what you're talking about.

  • @PSNBloodraid

This demo can be done with directX11 but you will not see any videogame with this graphic until the directX 12. As I wrote before, the same story of KillZOne2 from 2005.

But please, if you want to think I have not idea what I am talking about so continue to think that. Your joy it's my joy

  • @aldoskyz8 Killzone 2 ended up looking better than it's 2005 demo showed. And the way you responded to my comment seems to confirm that you're pretty clueless.

  • Most excellent :)

  • This isn't DX11 it's pre-rendered.

  • FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

this game cancelled because it created by cracked software LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • 0:14 fuselage-->F-15, wings-->F-14, engines-->F-22

  • we can probebly expect something not far behind this in terms of graphics for next gen... or mid to end of next gen

  • i laughed when the part with the atomic bomb was shown

  • Comment removed

  • ???why not title it "DX2 stormbirds HD!" it still would look the same

  • more like benchmark test -.-

  • I came at the part with the two Gatlings. The sound was perfect. GAU-8 style.

  • Shame its a damn shame

  • My Guess - Graphics on Xbox 720 & PS4 = This

  • @7VECRO Maybe in like 12 years, xbox or playstation will never have graphics as good as this any time soon, unless they sell it for like 30 thousand dollars lol

  • @over100mbps I don't know about that, the speed at which graphics are getting better is astonishing. When the Xbox 360 came out the graphics it had were far better than anything that'd been released 'till then. Plus considering they won't use brand name parts, just things they make themselves will mean lower production cost. I think it'll be something close to this at least. But we can agree to disagree.

  • @over100mbps actually i think this is 5 years off..

  • Definately 5 years off. Tech is kinda slowing down. All good ideas, they need to go back to DX9 and speed it up! Tessealtion isnt even used well yet. Crysis 2 has it, and it DESTROYS the FPS. Even on a GTX 590! No point in thisstuff, make what we have run better and faster!

  • @BuckFastZombie yeah but the GPU technology development is accelerating faster than the CPU development currently I think, and with things like stream processors and CUDA cores becoming more advanced weird things are possible!

  • @7VECRO I think that is totally possible.

  • I'm calling bullshit. DX11 couldn't do this. And even it could it would need 10 GTX590s to run that smooth.

  • @esspro well duh, it's a demo video to show the potential of what Directx11 can do in the future

  • @BrooklynBros na you are wrong.

  • what the F does this have to do with direct X 11? At the end of the video it says THQ 2008. DX 11 wasn't out in 2008 numbtard... I wiki'd thq know what they were doing in 2008???? here is the quote...

In March 2008, THQ announced they were to develop the world's first ever cheerleading game using the Wii Balance Board.[5]

On November 3, 2008, the company closed five of its internal studios.[6]

Really? a cheerleeding game for the Wii??? Jesus H Christ you say they were doing DX11? Please

  • @abi4life It could have been possible the movie/clip was made by THQ using DirectX11 or something I don't know.

  • I jizzed at 1:08

  • not real time, rendered, but it is cool anyway ... who made this ?

  • @ramiBudemaris yes this is a realitme simulation. They make things like these usally as ultra-high end benchmarks. Only PCs are capable of having real-time look so good that people call it rendered. Also, PCs render real-time so technically its both.

  • @4232267 There is no way i will agree that this is real-time .....

  • @ramiBudemaris do you play on console? You should look up some PC 3Dmark benchmarks. All of them are real time. However its not like a game, its meant to test the most powerful graphics to burn even th emost powerful of technology. BTW Dx11 has nothing to do with video so obviously this isnt rendered. Do you know how real-time DX11 rendering works and how technology works ?

  • @ramiBudemaris : Oh, but it is! =D

  • @WhiteHawkUK how do you know that this is real-time , have you ever seen something real-time similar to that ?????

  • @ramiBudemaris :

    1) Because it's a benchmark; it is being executed on a very high-end machine.

    2) Oh yes. I have BUILT computers that can do this in real time. I would build myself one if I didn't have bills and rent to pay. :(

  • @4232267 if you know current pc tech this is no way realtime.. its obviously prerendered the models and lighting is far to advanced to be produced on a current computer in realtime i bet this rendered at like 0.005fps or something tbh

  • @MrDobing one point it was real-time so they could make it using a workstation video card, meaning its frame-by-frame rendering. that maing it real-time. Now with it being on youtube on the other hand makes it streamed at 32 FPS. of course its not real-time on here because we would all be getting 1-2 FPS.

  • @ramiBudemaris : It is real-time, but scripted, so the engine is able to render ahead. In-game, this level of graphical goodness would be more difficult to deliver reliably only because the player's actions are not predictable and the engine must maintain rendering 'in the moment'. This is why benchmarks look so sexy - the camera follows a pre-set path, and the performance aspect can be tuned according to that path. :)

  • @WhiteHawkUK what do you mean ... render ahead (if that is the case, how come you call it real-time ???) ................

  • @ramiBudemaris : A frame or two ahead of the current one can be rendered - essentially 'faster than real time', but not pre-rendered (it is being CURRENTLY rendered, and is not simply a video of a previous, 'slower than real-time' rendering). If your machine exceeds the performance required to achieve real-time rendering, it can render faster than real-time. Getting 120 FPS out of a game on a 75Hz monitor, for instance, is a good example.

  • @ramiBudemaris : Pre-rendered is a good description of a computer-animated movie. 'Rendering ahead' is what your graphics card does when you're capable of rendering frames faster than the monitor's refresh rate; you sacrifice a little control response for smoother frame-rates... theoretically... though it usually doesn't work out that way - I never set my render-ahead to anything higher than 1 (the default is usually 3). Higher is better for scripted cut scenes though (no control issues).

  • @WhiteHawkUK your rendered ahead frames are called pre-rendered frames.. :P

  • @jony1710 : Except that 'pre-rendered' is ambiguous in reference to CGI, specifically when attempting to differentiate between pre-rendered full-motion video CGI animation (compare to 'pre-recorded') and the pre-emptive rendering of live CGI on a frame-by-frame basis. Otherwise, yes; well done. :)

  • Looks so much freaking arcade, glad its canceled.

  • siiickness

  • No way this is realtime...

  • What fool would cancel this game :O?

  • it should be Mw3 Graphics..but.............u know guys

  • Comment removed

  • My mind= blown

  • this isnt realtime rendering misleading title

  • Shame THQ cancelled the game.

  • @adster700 wat game

  • @adster700 dw

  • That was the coolest thing i've ever seen in my entire life! (pretty sad isn't it?)

  • Cool. Them swing winged aircraft looked like the front end of an F-15 and the back end of an F-14 with upgraded engines! Very cool video!

  • OMG those planes look so sexy!

  • it lookes like real

  • This isn't realtime, but the STUDIO is called Realtime.

  • Nothing like the old days with warhawk except this one that seems pretty good.

Also form 0:35 to 0:41 IT IS FUCKING AWESOME

  • Comment removed

  • This is what ace combat 7 should have been like not that shitty assualt horizon :T

  • The explosions and the smoke are very badly made.

  • Would make a good game out of this video

  • All I can say is Dam! Now that was bad, wow

  • This is not the actual game play, it's a pre-rendered cinematic and has nothing to do with directX at all.

  • One of the best looking flight sims to date and they cancel it.

  • more like DirectX 1337

  • whats the point of making this and showing off dx11 when its not even real time?

  • this is CGI

  • So obvious that it's CG.

  • This is rendered. It isn't realtime...

  • @axeves1 how u wanna know?

  • Audio and video isn't synchronized !! Amator realese.

  • Is the audio and video synchronized?

  • кульно )

  • Man send ubisoft or ea a message makes this game

  • This isn't a game people it was a Render test made into a short film. That's it. Sorry lol

  • Its a cool vid tho, where was it originally from, or what was it intended for?

  • O.o

  • Release date ANYONE or is it out

  • @penthrane11 heard it got cancelled :(

  • It really cant be said enough, THIS IS NOT DIRECTX 11 this excellent animation was ray-traced in VRay with post work in After Effects

  • what's the name of the game...

  • without the sound this would be nothing. But the sound is hardly DirectX only, it's probably a lot of editing.

  • epic

  • Unfortunately this isn't DirectX 11. I completely agree. It's actually a video with DirectX 11 pre-rendered and stuff like that. DirectX 11 is the graphics card.

  • Advanced graphical technology (though this ain't DirectX 11), and we use it...to determonstrate games of war. Typical humanity.

  • Yeah its realtime if you have a 220,00 core cpu frame.

  • @2VisionsPhotography what the fuk is a core cpu frame ? I hate it when people talk about computers when they don't know shit about them.

  • @Dylantog top500 .org/system/10587 THATS A CPU FRAME! Like an Ville!!!

  • Unfortunately, nukes cannot be blown up like this. Only detonated.

  • This can be real time with no problem.Except the quality of light effects.Smoke with shadows, inner shadows and colour bleeding, wtf, if you want to fake as real time you don't do that.

  • fail title is fail

  • who tells us it's real time.. could be pre-rendered and we have no way to find out.

  • bloody fake this game was made in 2008

  • We could realistically have this if it weren't for consoles. It makes me smile and feel a bit excited like when I was a young boy playing MOHAA for the first time, Normandy Beach. That "WHOAHHHHHHH!!" feeling, but then I remember those consoles..

  • its no directx 11, this is fucking 3D RENDER! -.-

  • If graphics cards continue to evolve like that, by 2018 (ps5 release date, if the current 6-year-cycle remains) we might finally be approaching photorealism for good. Dunno what will happen to ATI and NVIDIA though... Maybe hyperrealism? Where you take reality and make it even more beautiful and shiny by adding pixar-like shader effects? Dunno...

  • Super Animationsqualität ! ! ! Perfekt ! ! !

  • this would have been an awesome game ! lol@captainoats124 "jizzed statement"

  • I wonder if they can use the DirectX 11 and the cell cpu to recreate my balls in 3D with high textures and show them bouncing up and down and while running it in 1080p on the ps3.......

  • @yingyangdragon Probably, but it would be laggy as fuck!

  • that jet wouldn't survive that nuke, the shockwave alone would tear it to shreds, not to mention the emp and the radiation

  • @GregTehGoose

Actually the nuke wouldn't even explode, but that's an other story...

  • @Kill0rbAg and that plane would crash that close

  • is this an actual game?

  • When they let us download this and let us move where we want, I'll be amazed.

  • ohhh thanks, we{ll have to wait to the third world war to begin to find out this.

  • i tought at that distance for the nuke, the EMP should burn the aircraft

  • @ismakami but in this case the nuke is not set off regularly, using the Pinch(emp generator)... its set off using 2 missiles, so no emp pulse to take out the jet!

on the other hand i highly doubt that an attack like that would even make the nuke go off... it might cripple the delivery system(rocket)...

  • how games will look like in 10 years

  • @fdrpyahoocom nah, in 1 or 2.

  • Zjebane...

Ja lepsze na Pegasusie mam efekty ^^

  • Anything can be done in this kind of animation, rendered over ages. The point of DX is to make it look good in real time. This is a pointless video, and could be done ten years ago (in theory) with a lot of time.

  • the people that wanna see this in 3D thumbs up :D

  • OH MY GOD

    AMAZING

  • That rocket near the end must have been launched by nasa

  • mfw when they shoot down large aeroplanes over a city instead of over the ocean

  • This video actually isn't Real-Time. The "Realtime:UK" is actually the name of the company, not a statement about the animation. This Movie was Rendered on a Non-Real time Rasterization Engine called "Vue", Version 7 or 8 (Can't remember which). Look it up. In some of the Vue 7 or 8 promotional vids, they actually show some clips from this exact movie.

  • @Miiaku The first thing I thought when I saw this was "that's actually some decent Vue work there".

Don't know why the DirectX is in there :P

  • This looks so epic I that I made myself believe it is real and not CGI.

  • Please post it in better resolution. 1080p or higher.

  • @arni291 I know it better than you ;)

  • Besides whatever this is as a game or demonstration I find it hilarious how every attack is ridiculously risky to the plane/pilot doing the attack.....

Why drop bombs from a high altitude onto a bridge when you can fire short range missiles at it and fly under it as it is collapsing!!!! HELLLZ YEAH

  • Fail nuclear explosion... the airplane would be crushed by the force.

Apart from that, great one (sound desynced)

  • Now that was sick stuff there

  • According to Gametrailers , "A planned modern air combat title, canceled due to financial difficulties."

  • 0:06 that is just the GTA San Andreas HYDRA com'm guy's be original and come with a complet new sort of aircraft!!!

  • @2002Devastator lol maybe because that plane actually exist.. and its not called the hydra....

  • @EatDeeznuts1 No in real life they call it a harrier I know but it looks much of the GTA Hydra yuo must admit that!

  • I accidently your missile.

  • explosions look stupid :/

  • I cannot wait for something like this to be released - hopefully not just a tech demo. :|

  • its NO fake - its just a fucking matter of time!!

  • consoles no have direcX

  • @capatais777 xbox -->direcx X...box

  • an A-10 Thunderbolt have not so much power ^^

  • @TheMrLeex i think you dont know how much power it has

  • this game has been cancel

  • i am so poor! i bought a new, really modern and strong notebook, but the bad is only one thing: the gpu isnt directx 11 compatible.!!!!!!!!!

  • remember back when the PS3 was supposed to do this sh#t when it came out? lol good times

  • @bigshoes123321

They said it could do movie quality graphics.

Which.......maybe at times it can do movie like graphics.

  • @bigshoes123321 hahaha yeah remember that killzone 2 trailer?

  • this is...awsome

  • wish this game were released, Ubisoft's Hawx sucks ass

  • This looks as fake as the supposed Star Wars game for Kinect, also Milo for Kinect.

  • OMG, I JIZZED AT 1:18

  • @CaptainOats124 28(more???) thumbs up that you jizzed because of a animated mushroom cloud?!kinda weird, no?! my immediate thought at reading your post was more like "EH? why would anybody want to know that?!"........P.S. i know its a figure of speech-its just one that i think is kinda screwy... and i mean nothing negative by anything i have said! just thinking in type

  • Ah, that explains the Nov 6 nuke

  • ooooh now i get it its suposed to berealtime!!! when i first saw it i definetly saw pre rendering

  • In about 5 years, this is supposedly to be the norm realtime standard visuals. i think its safe to say that at that point, you really WONT need to upgrade any further. i mean.. once things look actually real, what would you need to upgrade again for? I guess maybe a large ram base to hold and render more polygons at once, but the processing power will be pretty much completed.. ya think?

  • @Ravalat nope sry but it wont take 5 years

you wont have real time raytracing and i mean the real deal

ray tracing everything in real time

and you wont have particle simulations of more than on million

    in 5 years

  • @IMamazone Sorry for the EXTREMELY late reply lol.. have you researched quantum systems? check em out! they'll blow the current computers away!

  • This shit has been posted soo many times. This is like a new sort of Rick Roll...DirectX11 Fake Roll'd

  • @psychonaut25 It was made in DX11, no-one said it was Real-time though...

  • @RahlRichard92 except that little text in the right corner

  • @psychonaut25 Regardless, it's a really sweet clip.

  • Why cant we do cool shit like in the the video games that are supposed to feel like real flying. I mean i cant do a quick brake and shoot my enemy in the arse. Man i hate the lame ass physics engines in the games (since ain´t it the air that thrwos the planes backwards when the pilot breaks and then ignites?)

  • @justmymage Actualy, thats called Cobra Maneuver, search here on youtube and you will see an real Sukhoy Fighter performing that! ;D

  • its real u noobs i have cracked copy and it looks the same!!

  • @Jcob91 BBBBBBBBBBBUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLLSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTT

  • Vue 8 Not realtime ass fake these are rendered cinematics

  • impresionanteeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

  • I wished this was a real game :P

  • 1:20 WTF BOOM!!!

  • ingame will look like this for 5-10 years :)

  • When can we reasonably expect graphics and animation like this in games?

  • @mmm4466 graphics 5-10 years max physics i dont exactly know cause it take alot of power to push a plane if not 20 to more to be that realistic in flight for a game unless your really good with controls :)

  • @MrDjmcloud haha go figure, games will probably never get this good

  • thats funny !

  • is this... in game engine.... or cinematic.... cuz if its in game engine then all I can say is... holy.. fuck.

  • @gaijinblow CGI, :(

  • @Zyziz

If this was CGI,Why would they put in "DirectX11" on the Title?,DirectX11 is for Real-time Gameplay.

So,It's Highly Likely this is Real-Time.

  • Realtime UK Often Makes CGI for video Games. Google It - Sorry bro.

  • @Zyziz

This is not CGI,Why would they have "DirectX11" in the Title?.

    DirectX11 is for Real-Time Games,Not CGI,So this is Clearly Real-Time.
