Sorry I got to say this ... but quite a couple of Nigerian productions from this era sound like some musty demo tapes (production-wise)...but this is a HUGE exception, it sounds crisp like on the first day! Excellent production Ms Veno, hats off!
Boy, I loved this song as a kid back in the 80s.............and this is from a Ghanaian growing up in Accra.
I have yearned so much to hear this song again for years and but for the greatest invention of the last century (the internet), I never in a million years thought I'd get to listen to this wonderful tune again. Well done FFSOUND.
ffsound thanks. wicked track thanks for posting longtime no hear. even if they drink the oil nigeria go survive!!!!!!!!!! ancestors nor go gree ooooh.
Even if all the money wey dey all our banks don turn NON PERFORMING LOANS, 'NIGERIA go survive'! I love my country. God bless Nigeria, God, pls remember VENO in your kingdom.
Waoh! May God bless whoever posted this song on Youtube. I used to listen to it as a child. Great music with great meaning. Please can somebody post Alex O's songs on Youtube. He used to be the pop star in Nigeria in the early 90's. I am desperately looking for his songs. Please can somebody pout them here. Thanks in advance
Bro/Sis, I wish say e dey possible just like that, me I ready go back o, as I dey write u so, I dey close to tears, cos I really carry Naija for blood, u may not understand, I dey miss things for home o, by God's grace we never lost...blessings to y'all BLESSINGS!!
I am so grateful to whoever posted this video. I remember the song so well. I have also looked for it but without success. Thank God I came across it today. I owe Veno. God knows where she is. God bless Nigeria.
This jam is one jam that will never fade in my heart.....growing up in Lagos it swept the entire nation like a fever. Veno Marioghae was a superstar (still is in my opinion). This is my favourite Nigerian indigenous track ever. Even the video is still fresh in my mind!
Awesome music. Veno was superb. I am still shocked that this jam did not last in the minds of Nigerian music lovers / listeners. This jam is solid after 25 years. Please where is Veno? She deserves big time thumbs-up for this jam. I graduated from High School the year this jam hit the air waves. Superb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the most brilliant songs enjoyed in the 80s. The artiste should have enjoyed much more success than this solitary hit
