  • @MikeI3low who lifts in chuck taylors? an athlete who wants to solidly grip the floor for a strong base instead of wobbling around on those giant cushions of foam that we call sneakers these days . barefoot is best, but usually is frowned upon in commercial gyms.

  • yeah i did this twenty minutes ten pound weights and the only t hing that got ti red was my legs. I used twenty pound weights, are there ways to make this more challenging ?this is my first week doing this too. I am also looking for better ab workouts.

  • yeah i did this three times within twenty minutes no rest, and i noticed that my arms didn't get tired, my legs did by the end of the workout. am i doing this right?> i am doing it with twenty pound weights. do you recommend anything else combining this with an ab workout? let me know.

  • Thank you for this, I love it. I did it three times with the two minutes of rest in between. I'm incorporating it into the days I don't do strength training.

  • try martial arts... you will be hit, punched, kicked...u will be bleedin also... but u wont be bored...and Yes, you will be lean... Actually I do this workouts on the mornings, or before my mma training... awesome...

  • Reply to maquahuiti. You're right. I did some karate in univ. and I loved it. Later with my wife, tai chi. How about Power Tai Chi -- get absorbed in the form so you'll never have to count reps. You focus on the elegance (power?) of the moves and forget that you are exercising. Gotta try something like that.

  • i love music, so i listen to it while i work out.. it makes the workout very cathartic if you are listening to intense music.. or if the music is less intense it's like your head is in a different place to your body.

  • Workout with a buddy and challenge each other. Definitely not boring.

    How long do you do this same circuit before you change to another workout?

  • This is only a part of the overall program. Craig mentions that you do this once a week over a 4-week period. Progressing to higher weight. Obviously, there is more to do in the other weeks but we have to pay to get access.

  • As usual a great, do-able workout from Craig.

    I stopped doing cardio and started using his ideas for workouts. It has made a huge difference for me.

  • Yeah, that Bulgarian Squat will definitely have your legs crying at first. I like all of Ballantyne's workouts because they work the core without need for crunches or situps.
