what is he doing at 4:44? im not quite sure whats the point of making 2 slightly different versions and chopping them after each other. I mean sureley he could have just edited the 2nd half of the song slightly and then just do a normal mixdown?

@Xenitic by creating multiple mixdowns of the track with differing filters/lfos etc he can then bring them all in and kind of remix the track and chop it up to make it much more interesting...very clever way to work, it cuts out a lot automating and fine editing. Its also a great time saver and he will stumble onto sequences and chops that he would never have been able to think up from scratch
