Just to clarify a couple of things....First: though the music was co-written between the 3, it was actually Mike Rutherford who penned the lyrics. So credit needs to be given to him. Secondly: 2 Justin Beiber fans sould be removed from the gene pool.

Aw! This is just amazing! Genesis are one of the biggest classic rock bands of our time! Phil Coliins is the sexiest man alive, Mike Rutherford too! This is my all time favorite, It was my all time favorite when i was 14, i am now 44 and married to the same man that made it mean so much to me then. 30 years on i still follow you coz you still follow me! lve never heard this acoustic version before! Absolutely awesome. I used to listen to Genesis as a young girl and teenager as my older brother would be blaring out their tunes all the time. Every trip to Scotland included my brothers cassette tapes of Genesis, fantastic memories. I've never seen this video before and I absolutely love it. I've dedicated it to my fiance on Facebook and listen to it all the time and think of him xx thanks for putting it up xx

Phil Collins i always liked him, may be he is just that much better because he does not have real pop star looks, same reason Danny De Vito is so awesome, they are not pretty boys, and better of for it. ( may be i am just saying this because i am not as pretty as i ones was)

@Geert365 Yes, finally someone got the message! You will only get the maximum attention if you have the good looks. Phil Collins (and Danny deVito) are amongst the few exceptions, who got huge success without having them pop star looks. I think if everyone, including record companies and studio crew, "listened" without "looking", there would be a whole lot more succesfull musicians. Great video by the way; a while ago I got this dvd for a lousy 2 euros at my local audio and video megastore.

This is from the "Genesis Songbook" dvd. They performed an acoustic version of Afterglow during this same session which is on the dvd also.
