depends how u mean church,if its by when christianity was bought to a country its antioch,armenia and ethopia(back then it was coptic) if its when the church split from the council its assyria,if its in tradition its syriac and coptic if its by historical dating its coptic,the oldest church in the world is the hanging church

Jesus Christ is a messanger but the Messiah and Son of God. John 20 28 "Thomas answered Him, My Lord and My God!" In response to the temptation of Christ, you cannot forget Christ was not only God but also Human. So as a human he is bound to be tempted but his divinity was seen when he rebuked the devil and his powers.
In response to St.James 1:13.... St.John Ch 1 1-2 "in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God" and St.Mathew 10 28 " I and the Father are ONE" Pi Ichristos Antonf!
We have to win against our enemies and those who work against us politically. Potilical work inside Egypt and outside Egypt. We need to organize our efforts to gain strength. Prayers alone will not work. Sad but true. We need no more Martyrs; we have had enough in our history.
if it werent for the prayers of many in the coptic church, then where would the church be now? prayers indeed are important and are very effective if one has faith. organizing and getting together to do something about the injustices being done is good too but prayers of our fathers are what have kept us going forward and we should think of the future of the church and pray for them. prayers alone can work, if one believes in the power of God
As the Book of Psalms reminds us: You can not have hope in any kings, governors, or earthly rulers. For when they die, their works die with them. Politics can meddle the church and take people away from God. One needs to be prayerful and be witnesses of the faith. Only Faith and love conquers the Devil, not politics.
