@1JAT1 Are you one of those people that thinks that music notation is the only way to read music? Tab predates music notation, also, I'm pretty sure that Joe probably doesn't care that you are using tab or notation...

@lamboguitarmadas tabs do not predate musical notation.. predate means older. postdate would be the correct word. musical notation was around hundreds of years before tabs. i dont see any lute tabs from the renaissance around. but there are countless scores of traditional lute songs from that era.

Actually lute tabs were popular in the middle ages and renaissance. Each culture had their own. French, Spanish, German, Italian, with minor differences but still very similar to what we use now (except the German).

They came into popularity because most lute players were bards and muses and had little to no training in music reading.

I suggest you do some more research on the subject if it interests you.

@iTzNoxy I suggest you do even more research of your own because standard notation still predates tablature. and the renaissance tablature i said you dont see is different than fretted tablature. its called neapolitan tabs which were in use in italy during the renaissance, the only standard tablature in use was on the organs. lute tabs were far different than todays. the neapolitan lute tabs didnt have fret numbers because the lutes had no frets you still had to remember the notes

(cont.) and it wasnt until the fretted lute became popular because it make it easy to fret a note and have the fretted tabs available. before the fretted lute you had to know your basic theory of which notes make up chords and all the notes throughout the neck because neapolitan tabs were made for fretless. bards and untalented muses came into play during the period of fretted lute and fretted tabs. im well aware of what i said and also am well aware you need to study more.

that is the tablature used for lutes which predates the tablature you tried mumbling your dumbass incoherent babble about. my main point was that standard notation predates it and im right. a fretted lute didnt appear until the 1600s. then number tabs emerged. dumbshit

Because he does not want to concentrate him self on anything except music.Look and attitude takes a time,so he cuts hair and does not bother looking any better than he is naturally is.He usually wears black clothes,because it is simplest way and random.And yet,than longer hair you have than more stressful you are.
