by definition a minor power chord doesn't exist. a power chord uses the first and fifth note of a chord and eliminates the third note, the one that makes it major or minor.
make sure you have your amp on "distortion" or "overdrive" or whatever its called depending on the amp. . . also make sure you not just tapping your also pulling off

No, actually Angus picks. Watch live at Donnington, in the music video he does it for the looks. But I find it easier to do hammer ons and pull offs.
P.S. The second part of the intro is wrong. Listen carefully.
