  • Mindf*cked.

  • And to make it more complicated, this means the first baby is technically the uncle of the second baby because the first baby is the brother-in-law of the widow's grown-up daughter who is also the first baby's grandmother since she is married to the his father's father

  • @nong333 Add to this, the second baby is also a brother-in-law to the widow and the singer which simultaneously makes him an uncle to his own birth mother, the grown-up daughter.

  • If you are your own granddad, then you know you're a redneck.

  • @Intrepidman - What is the name of the Mark Twain story? I'd enjoy reading it!

  • Now to confuse you all. What is the relationship between the two children.

  • AWESOME! xD

  • mind fuck...but seems legit

  • This is only possible through marriage because time travel to the past would cause an infinite paradox, thus possibly destroying the universe. Problem solved.

  • Americans

  • @ThePyrotube [sarcasm] lol cause y'know, the Europeans don't have a MASSIVE HISTORY of inbred royalty. nope, not at all. [/sarcasm]

  • @ThePyrotube ... I would be insulted, but that is too funny a comment to be :P

  • You guys have never been to the southern states have ya?Shite happens.Go thru your family history...or,are you afraid to?? lol I guess they just know what they're talkin about then..lol You're a little off.A little bit further away, which means.."Science-wise",you're a wee-wee bit slower.lol I'm my own GRAND-MA!!!

  • freaking red necks

  • HOW IS THIS LEGAL?

  • @ghostdog6220 There's no incest.

  • @ghostdog6220 The daughter wasn't his, she was old enough to be wed and therefore his father could marry his daughter causing this extremely weird paradigm of seemingly inbred tendencies however none of them sleep with blood relatives so nobody is at the wrong...

  • @krayzee28 Just a whole lot of omitted Step-(insert family member).

  • finally, i understood this after watching it more than 10 times over and over again!

  • My mind wants to implode

  • I UNDERSTAND THE SONG NOW! THANKYOU! THANKYOU! THANKYOU!!!

  • wow

  • ...wat? o__o

  • You just know that one of Ray's great-grandsons was named "Cletus".

  • Thanks for the diagram it helps alot... o.o somewhat...hahaha..

  • WOW this is so weird XD

  • The diagram made me even more confused!

  • Sooo he is only his own grandpa through marrige, because I had thought he was going to be his own biological grandpa you know something like futurama.

  • @MrDeath1001 thats how i got here funnily enough. Makes it a hell of a lot more confusing when you're coming from thinking about time travel :P

  • @MrDeath1001 Much easier to achieve by simply marrying ur grandmother.

  • @theUSOdancer Well that seems pretty senseless but, whatever!

  • i get it. finally.

  • Actually not true. He is his own step-grandfather. Big difference!

To clarify: He is step-father to the woman that his father married.

  • Talent like this,(the original concept) doesn't come around very often.

  • I got a headache trying to figure out that diagram.

  • i wonder how long it took him to make this. he mindraped all of us.

  • @InvictusDarts He didn't make it, he stole it from an earlier musician

  • Oh my! That's why the Bible had some very strict rules about who could marry who, altho some rules like "Levirate marriage" were designed to keep estates in the family

  • Mind=Blown. O_O

  • isint that insest

  • CONFUSING.

  • HA!! Awesome!!

  • So your dads a pedophile?

  • I don't see y they complicate the graph with the children of "Me" and "Father"...

If "Me" is married to "Widow" and "Father" is married to "Daughter" => "Daughter" is the step-mother of "Me" and her mother ("Widow") is the grandmother of "Me". Since "Me" is married to his grandmother that already makes him his own grandpa.

You can keep applying the same logic and "Me" also becomes his great-great-grandfather and so on.

  • THANK YOU MARK TWAIN!!!!

  • there is NO incest becasue there is no blood relation btwn the widows daughter & the singers' father..

  • there is NO incest becasue there is no blood relation btwn the widows daughter & the singers' father..

  • imagine what Christmas or thanksgiving must be like for them

  • if you need help with this (cuz u dont need most of the lines on this)

go to my pagge and im going to put up a Video of it (not with lyrics or anything)

  • to make it simple, his daughter is his mother, and as father of his mother, hes his own grampa. almost no steps to it, the sons are just there to confuse you XD

  • @Theraiser2000 well thank you! that makes it much more easy :S i was so lost with the song :S

So then he couldnt possibly be his own grandpa cuz how on earth could his daughter be his mother! :D

  • @belladonna137 his daughter is his mother cuz his father married his daughter. the wife to his father is his mother. so his daughter is his mother. hope that helps

  • @belladonna137 his daughter married his dad

  • Things are always funner with graphical interpretations.

  • that makes it look complicated

jimsimmovies makes a real easy to follow one :)

  • lol, wow!

  • Stupid father messing everything up...

  • WTF lol i am confused if you can understand this please explain it to me!!!

  • WTF lol i am confused if you can understand this please explain it to me!!!

  • as odd as this is, what is even odder is that there is no bloodline incest (only marriage ties)

  • LOL

  • this is for anyone who has kin in west virgina aka all my people

  • @foreversonn >.>

  • Wow. Messed up man x_x;

I wouldn't want that to happen to me...

  • oh gosh, this song is so mixed up, but i love it...i love it

  • thats so weird!

  • @ilovemondayzz,

    Yet so legal.

  • @Intrepidman

good song, fun, but he's not his own grandpa, he's his own step-grandpa, just keeping it real

  • This is really hilarious.

  • how come everyone is so confused. its pretty straight out especially with the words and the map and everything. haha just listen!

    but anyway. haah thats funny.

  • this scares the sh*t out of me while, weirdly enough, it turns me on.

  • WHAAAAAAAAAT!?!!??!?!?!?!?!?

  • I get it!!!! Lol

  • The two Family Tree comments are better than this video.

  • I GET IT!!

  • Wait! What? O-I-C!

  • If this one doesn't make sense, try I'm my own Grandpa - Ray Stevens (With family tree diagram). Thats the only one that makes sense to me.

  • X_o omg my brain its melting!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Republican voters have really complicated family trees as you can see.

  • @onedeadcat ,

Yeah, Democrat family trees are very simple, no branches.

  • Sigh. Lookie here folks. All that inbreeding has really made them cross eyed.

I feel bad making fun of Republicans, after....seeing....what this guy said. LMAO

  • @Intrepidman

    Nice

  • @Intrepidman Yeah man, Those republicans are such in breeders. Oh yeah?? Well, you democrats are inbreeders!

  • @Intrepidman U stole my line...Grrrr!

  • @Intrepidman better than circles

  • @Intrepidman Haha ZING!

  • @onedeadcat hard to follow ...I know... the Dems have it easy... no branches...LOL (I just couldn't resist)

  • @onedeadcat Funny, I've met some died in the wool Democrats in the deep south. Good ol' boys who'd never vote for the party of Lincoln.

  • @onedeadcat by making this joke you only show your own sad ignorance

  • @onedeadcat Lies, we republicans don't marry our grandparents, we marry our cousins. As soon as my second cousin graduates from her medical school we will have inbred babies.

  • For those people who understand this, here's a fun question:

How closely related are the "bouncing baby boy" and the singer's father's young son, biologically?

Here's my solution: They are the genetic equivalent of an uncle and nephew. One is the other's half-brother's son, as well as his mother's half-brother. Half nephew-uncle + half uncle-nephew = 1 uncle-nephew.

  • hahaha

  • This video sound like my friend amber family.

  • hahahah thx for the diagram i understand now :D :D :D

  • @YayMelons

    np

  • :)) nice, no time machine needed :P

  • Ahh man thanks for the diagram. It helped having the arrows light up. Finally I can now go and rest after many years of trying to figure this out.

  • OH I GET IT!!! Thanks!

  • This is for the intellectually lazy... try to keep up!

  • a regular redneck jingle

  • Haha lol NOW I get it xD

  • cool!

  • It's really hard...to understand.

  • haha :D

  • I didn't understand a thing. :D

  • i love Ray Stevens!

  • That is a lot of inbreeding going on right there!

  • none there not blood related

  • Only legally related

  • i dont get how his son is his dads wife's brother, other then that, i understand the whole thing

  • @lilxAPluvaboi

I think it starts where my baby boy and father are step-brothers.

  • because his son is his wifes child, and so is his fathers wife. tut tut try to keep up

  • @wizzawozzawoozle

    haha, xD

now i see! I think its just the graph that got me confused @.@

  • if his father is married with his daughter, the father is his saw in law , so, if he have another kid , the kid is brother of his father, so his kid is his uncle because is brother of his father :)

  • What an amazing song!

  • I THINK i get know xD

  • a poor chart, but hilarios song

  • i STILL dont get it xD!!!!

  • its so damn confusing

i'm gonna print the end result and try to figure it out

  • hahah that would be a great idea xD...

but how can you print it?

  • screen shot

  • Great job on making it more complicated.. Its really simple actually

    Dad |

Me - Widow | Red hairy girl

Father + Red hairy girl, which makes the red hairy girl his mother. The widow is the mother of the red hairy girl (his mother) which makes her his grandma. He is married to the widow/his grandma, so he's his own grandpa.

  • uhm, not actually... he doesn't technically become his own grandpa until his dad and his widow's daughter have a son...

  • Thats exactly what I said.. >_>

  • They did...

  • do you say bahumbug on christmas?

hell i bet you even say it on thanksgiving..

  • I dunno what the hell youre talking about.

Im Dutch, I dunno what bahumbug is and I dont celebrate christmas/thanksgiving.

  • well what do the dutch celebrate?

  • Sinterklaas, pasen, pinksteren..?

Why? What does bahumbug mean? x_x

  • Its something Ebenezer Scrooge says.

    (from wikipedai)

in Charles Dickens' 1843 novel, A Christmas Carol. At the beginning of the novel, Scrooge is a cold-hearted, tight fisted, greedy man, who despises Christmas and all things which engender happiness.

he says BAH HUMBUG a lot.

do the dutch read Charles Dickens? ;P

  • Yeah we do. I had to read great expectations for English class.. but havent read christmas Carol..

  • it means "whatever, i dont care to think about such things, so leave me alone"

  • There is no incest here. It is just people getting married to the wrong people. It is possible, as when two Identicle twins married two identicle twins, although the brothers had never met the other brother's wife until after they were both married.

  • This song is hilarious.

  • this is why incest is illegal

  • its not incest, there are no blood relations involved.... and incest is not illegal in most states.

  • @wellsbryanjason Incest is illegal in all states excluding Rhode Island and Ohio.

  • @Lucas6194 it's actaully legal there?! {:O are those the same states that let you marry a 50 lbs rock???

  • lol

  • thank you for the chart - it really made it easier to understand. I now only have to listen to the song again 99 times to get the picture :-)

  • lol yeah it helped it make more sense.

  • to me this just confused the matter even more......

  • lol thank you for explaining it to me

  • i acually followed that......all of it

    i get it now hehe!!!!!

  • That chart was hilarious. Well done!

  • thx!

  • Hmm

    Confusing as fuck still xD

  • im my own grampa two

  • Remember when Rolling Stone's bassist Bill Wyman married an 18 year old and his son married her mother? Wouldn't that make his son his step-dad?

  • very confusing

  • WoW lol it maps out to work

  • Took me ages to figure it out, but I understand it now.

    It is actually possible *__*

  • wierd but makes sense

  • Wait...

I thought this was an old Spike Jones song?

So who is Spike related to?

  • @_@

    ...but it makes sense XD

Excellent diagram. Makes it so clear.

  • talk about circular logic . . . this song is brilliant ... but I still like Homer and Jethro's version better... but maybe that's just me. either way this is a good one.

  • Fry from Futurama comes to mind. Of course thats a different case entirely.

  • Great job with the diagrams. I had pondered how to do this and came up with a picture approach. Check out mine sometime:-)

  • lawls

  • gay

  • the fears of geneology. that is one screwed up family line.

  • the family tree that doesn't fork...

  • lol

  • lol, we listened to this in biology, describing pedigrees

  • Sounds like a fun class. LOL

  • i got lost and my mind is broken.

  • Futurama came to mind when i saw this title

  • haha same here. lol.
