  • I just LOVE Mary's hairs :)

  • Is this the girl version of American Pie or something?

    Also, 1:20 - I'm gone.

  • sorry, but the 1939 version is better by far

  • what the fucking hell, there is no black woman on the poster for this movie. i dunno if its makeup lighting or photoshop they used on jada pinket smith but they thoroughly whited her up.

  • one of the worst movies of all time. and definitely the worst remake. btw: what happened to meg ryan's face?

  • if this movie isnt about women suckin my dick or fixin me sammiches....

  • what are they doing??

so far from the kitchen... crazy b*tches!

  • 39 dislikes are boys

  • So, who typed "Women" to see some Kitchen and Women jokes?

  • Idk why but i love dumb women movies like these everynow and then, cant help it hah. (though i actually havent seen this)

  • There is not a SINGLE man in this trailer. Thumbs up when you found out.

  • Never knew they filmed a movie in a kitchen...

  • somehow this total mess of a movie managed to be far less emancipated and modern than the 1939 original....strange, hm?

  • So nice to know that Hollywood has so little imagination that some writer has to rip off a Clare Booth Luce classic old hit play that became a hit movie, and "update" it into something that doesn't look half as clever or funny, and then take credit for "writing" it. Baloney. Garbage like this is a huge reason why I rarely bother to go to the movies any more.

  • Damn this movie got some Haters.. they must be something right.

If you dont like the movie then why comment?!

  • I don't know what some of these people are talking about. I liked it. It's a remake of a classic, sure, so they made it more modern, of course. But I liked it well enough. I always love to see Meg Ryan. Eva Mendes also did a good job, I really hated her lol. Jada Pinkett-Smith did really good. They all did. AND I could identify with some of it, like the friendship between Annette Bening and Meg Ryan. I don't know. I'd recommend it. But, that's just my opinion.

  • THIS MOVIE SUCKS SO FUCKING MUCH! i NEVER THOUGH THAT A MOVIE WITH ONLY WOMEN APEARING IN IT, WOULD BE SO FUCKING BORING AND DULL!!!

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

  • the movie bit off more than it could chew.

  • DON'T READ IF HAVEN'T SEEN MOVIE The moral of this story was you can't make it on your own, so you should stay with your cheating husband. When I rented this I thought it would be like "The First Wives Club" where it's about women empowerment and surviving on your own, but it's not. This is about staying with someone who cheated because you can't make it. I hated this movie. And I hate that it gives out that message to women.

  • DON'T READ IF HAVEN'T SEEN MOVIE This movie was so so so horrible. First off none of them are believable as friends. Second Meg Ryan is supposed to be so rich in it and she looks like an old bag lady. Debra Messing is the most annoying, they try to make her be funny and weird but she doesn't pull it off. Eva Mendes is just trampy and annoying, and I hate how she walks in this, like she's trying to look so sexy, just walk normal girl. Jada Pinkett Smith was the only character I remotely liked.

  • This looks trashy..

  • LOL it's funny because it makes sexism sink even deeper in society

  • i love jada

  • I love this movie ko much

  • this is officially the worst chick flick i've seen in my life

  • hey want to hear a joke? womens rights.

  • @22buckeroo That's such an old joke. It's not funny, and it never was. -_-

Tell better, non sexist jokes or GTFO, man.

  • Wow, she is fiiiiiiiine

    Geez Alex not now!

    LOL

  • Okay great. So now i have seen this entire movie in 2 mins. I shall go watch another....

  • whats the song at 0:21 ?

  • What did the man they fight over looked like again? Must have missed him^^

  • it was good, but then i prefer the original. Eva is beautiful but Ms. Joan Crawford will always be the baddest man stealer there ever was!! :)))

  • is this movie about making sammiches?

  • Btw the perfume girl is FINE lmao

  • @silverfire421 jeez Alex, not now :P lmoa

  • I actually didnt mind that there werent any men in this movie...but i guess that makes sense since im a lesbian lol

  • I'm not saying women are stupid, but they sure watch some stupid shit.

  • @wikiporno MEN WATCH STUPID SH**T TOO, LIKE JACKASS!

  • @elala02 I happen to have several female friends who enjoy jackass.

  • I'm an intelligent woman and I wasn't disgusted by this film. I thought it was fun, I enjoyed it :) I'll watch most things, though.

  • @Ilovetobeyoung yeah it might have been pretty late when i wrote that comment... Been a year since i wrote it so my opinions have changed considerably and my updated one is that you don't have to be disgusted by this film if you are intelligent. Personality and personal taste is more important than intelligence in this case, so... I've liked some pretty bad movies myself, so who the fuck am i to jugde

still wouldn't watch it with a gun to my head, though.

  • This movie looks so incredibly horrible. The women look so incredibly horrible. They have no class and what is with the nasty, snarky designing women dialogue "don't we already have too many of those already?". This movie is nothing more than "designing women" meets "the Maid". Truly sad when one considers the original version of "the women"

  • All I can think is, Oh Meg, what did you do to your lips?

  • @TokyoSpike she's turned into the golem

  • If a movie with all guys is a sausage fest, what do you call one with all babes? Pie party? Taco anniversary? Clam birthday?

  • what about the payback in that movie??

  • bad movie

  • Everyone in this movie is so....Bitter. I didn't really enjoy it = /

  • It was an interesting idea but poorly executed.

  • You know i'm a guy and I actually kinda liked this film, at the very least it's FAR more watchable then those godawful Sex And The City movies!

  • This film sucked, nothing much happened :(

  • This movie pales in comparison to the original black and white version...the women are truly catty and its so hilarious that you spend most of it either cringing or laughing or both

  • I actually liked this movie for some reason or another :/

  • now that looks funny and good.

  • i love how she says "she is fine.

  • my condolences to guys whose girlfriends made them see this abysmal piece of crap

  • I wish life was like this movie.. No men!! hahaha:D

  • @LycieLoo we are not so bad,i mean yes there are some assholes but not all...

  • seeing Eva Mendes in nylons that is hot

  • which is the name of trailer's last song?

  • GOOD MOVIE NO MEN LOL :)

  • lol i really like this movie -esp. debra messing - best comedian actor!! :D

  • this looks good, but i'm sure the original is still better

i mean, it's the exact same plot, just with a lot more clever dialogue

btw, the men aren't in the movie at all (just like in the original) because it's supposed to be all about women. for a movie of its time, it was a huge move to make.

and yes, they're all sterotypes...that's the point. it's a satire.

  • I thought the movie was funny but got confusing and pathetic in some parts. And the no man in the movie thing is just fucked up

  • watch Annette Bening's face at 0:31

then Jada Pinkett-Smith's face at 0:56

and finally, Meg Ryan's at 1:42

They sould have called it "the UGLY women" !

  • can't compare to the cukor version!

  • This movie represents everything disgusting about American Women.

Greed, shallowness, estrogen depletion, botox, and too much testosterone.

It doesn't represent female empowerment, it represents why American Women become ugly hags and are so wrapped up in their own BS that they are repulsive to any male with a normal hormone count.

Nancy Grace and any women who looks like her will adore this movie. Everyone else, run!!!!!

  • This movie is hysterical, I love it.

  • @bowiehs i hope that god will forgive you.

  • @Ahmedabdelreheem He always does, people do share different views, it is called opinions.

  • I watched this movie and i thought it wasn't all that good. I gave it a 4/10 because the whole pretending the men were there but weren't actually present is what i didn't like about it. I understand that it was about the women still i would like to see the men present in the movie so you could see what problems they were actually having in their relationships besides them telling their friends. I just think it would of been a lot more interesting that way.

  • Meg Ryan's character is an idiot for taking back her husband. I mean the man didn't just sleep with the other woman once. A true mistake is when something happens once, not when it happens over and over again. He maintained an ongoing relationship with her. Then the stupid wife takes him back.

  • @Sodapoppy147 they're all idiot in this movie, along with any one love it too !

  • Why don't they ever blame their husbands??? He's just as much at fault!

  • i remember this movie <3

  • that shot at 2:02 pretty much sums up the whole film

  • It's supposed to be a remake of the orignal 1939's version of the movie starring Joan Crawford and Norma Shearer. It makes more sense when it's set in the late thirties because in those days divorces were sort of commen, but were frowned upon. But because they remade it for present day, the plot doesn't work as well as it did back then.

And in the orignal there weren't any men either.

  • ""Watch my audition go on my channel and comment please :)"""""""""""

  • The movie was SO funny!

I really liked it! Debra Messing looked awesome!

  • i have lost 2 hours from my life to watch this shit!!!sucks

  • @moystiko lo are you a guy?

cause i would understand even u were a girl lol

it sucks it's crap i wasted my time too

and in the end i wa like motherfu****

    i was super pissed

  • Guys! Could you please tell me what is the song playing in the begining of the episode? Thanks!

  • @CATandARTlover the whole point was that the movie would not have men in it.

  • Not a single man appeared in this movie. :D

  • @MaximA014

dont forget the newborn baby boy ;)

  • @MaximA014 lol...i agree,,i aint gonna see this crap...

  • @MaximA014 thats the point

  • @MaximA014 even the dog was a girl....lucy

  • @MaximA014 dude i tried watching every frame of this trailer and you were right, there is not a single man in that..not even on the background..lol

  • @MaximA014 no at the end that one chick has a baby boy ; )

  • looks HILARIOUS!

  • @crazyloverblue I watched it. It is neither hilarious nor intelligent. It is very very stupid.

  • It doesn't look nearly as good as the original 1939 version.

The actresses were so much better in that one, really, who can compare to Joan Crawford? Norma Shearer? Rosalind Russell?

The script in that version was so much wittier and had great comedic lines.

This 2008 version just comes off as a bit pathetic to me.

I hate when today's times try to remake the classics.

  • lol i love it when they wipe the nurse's brow. classy :)

  • @CATandARTlover well....the movie is called "the women"

  • i think the point is that there is not a single man anywhere, at any time in this flick, not even in the background. Yet oddly enough they all seem to be enslaved by men in some background fashion.

All this movie teaches me is that women are only obsessed with getting their way, keeping everything at the status quo, and staying at the top with nobody beneath them rising up.

    How charming.

  • You said it buddy, what a load of crap this movie is.

It's basically all about landing a good man.

  • @HyperSonicSquall

    Perfectly defined this movie

  • that's the point - it's called the WOMEN. the original in 1939 didn't include any men either :)

  • Eva Mendes wearing lingerie? Good movie

  • this film was a waste of time.

  • can someone tell me if this movie was any good??

  • @TheTwilightx3 Ja, er war echt lustig, aber nicht besonders anspruchsvoll!

Man kann sich gut amüsieren, würde ich mal sagen......;-)

  • ok danke!!

  • Hold on, hold on, hold on.

    Hold on.

I'm trying to phrase this in a way that doesn't make me sound like a sexist prick here but was there a single male at any point in that entire trailer? Even in the background? It's as if they purged the planet of all non-females and all this talk of an asshole ex-boyfriend is just an excuse to beat up some perfume girl.

  • There isn't. There aren't any men in the movie. Except for one special moment.

  • If memory serves me correct there wasn't a man in the original movie either.

  • wow she is fyone

    LMAO

    oh gots to love jayda

    this movie looks hilarious

  • 1:35

It seems the main character is slightly retarded, and must constantly affirm, out loud, how various devices in the kitchen work upon hearing someone mention cooking?

    Huh.

  • I got here from Cracked and yes I am female. I saw parts of this movie at home and the stereotypes are so blatant and exhausting,it was a waste of my life.

Also showing the movie's ending at the end of the trailer? Fail trailer is fail.

  • looks CRACKing i have to say

  • I get the impression that this movie is intended for a female audience.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, no seriously?

  • really? i get the impression this movie is a collection of female stereotypes, and that any intelligent women would be disgusted by this shit. btw, the reason i'm watching this is because it was linked to by an article on Cracked about 7 movies that secretly hates women...

  • I think many of us came here via cracked. Many of the males anyways.

  • @cl1mbat1ze LOLZ same here xDDDD

  • @cl1mbat1ze We aren't disgusted by this "shit". We can relate to these things because we know how women are. Even if you lesbian, every single woman knows, how we behave, the mixed feelings, the mood swings, everything. Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about. So until now you better keep your opnion about women to yourself. Because you don't know how women are.

  • damn meg ryan is still hot

  • @nick21521 Meg Ryan? Pfft... Eva Mendez in stockings and suspenders = win

  • This. Looks. Awful.

  • Saw the original (the '39 version), was going to see this one...

Didn't. The '08 version just didn't have that same punch as the '39 version.

Still, now after watching the trailer, I'm wondering "What the hell was I thinking when I passed this gem up?"

  • oh you mean about the perfume bitch?

  • I love that line too

  • and no man in the ,movie ?!?!?!?!?

  • Yeap! No man!

  • i really enjoyed this move. Jada rules

  • "geez, alex, not now"

  • LOVE THE MOVIE AND ALEX ;] <3

  • LMAO at the end. Debra Messing is the best.

  • this is a great a movie...there is absoutly no men in it not even in the backround so when they say "the woman" their not kidding...

  • Jada is AWESOME<!!!! ive taken that line on ! ( not gay lol) fab film :0)

  • ugh i love this movie! so inspirational! amazing it really is

  • that movie is so brainless....as if women has nothing better to do then gossip. and again women who have babies are the " more ugly ones" with big, hanging clothes, who have no fun in life...another stupid american movie....dump generation

  • i agree with you. even though they were only women in the film. All the the woman talked about was about men. any how i only watched like 14 minutes of it then i got bored but i did like jada pinkett smith character

  • itz about old women wit a lot of insecurities... ^-^

  • Actually this was based on a playwrite written in 1936 about the class system. The entire idea of the play was about gossiping women and how back then it was "expected of men to cheat on their wives."

I must admitt this movie is NOTHING like the original play.

  • I like most Meg ! She has has a very strong presence and incredible charm ...

  • That big white square thing with the fire coming out of it? That's the stove!

    hahahaaa!

  • i just LOVED this movie!

    It's very fetch!

I was feeling the same way when I watch Sex and the City! Sylvie is soooooo Samantha Jones!

    I was laughing a lot

    Luv iT

  • Jada is so funny. This movie is my life haha (:

  • eva mendez... the most beautiful women

  • i really like this movie and i would appreciate if any one of you send this movie in part with closed captioned. thanks Jawad from morocoo

  • i love this movie Jada cracked me up

  • I love this movie sooooo much! Jada was amazing as Alex and I always love anything Annette does!

  • sad remake of the classic "The Women" the movie made no money, currently showing on HBO, I would advised all to see the orginal movie always being played in ratation on TCM-Turner Classic Movies

  • omg this film is cool :D that birth scene at the end had me and my moms b.f laughing so hard i couldnt breathe! :D

  • this was a good movie :D

    loved it.

  • At 2:08 XD I know that girl with blond hair in the back clapping :D she is the friend of my sisters :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • Tthis isn't Amy Winehouse, it's Duffy with Mercie!!! ;);)

  • does anyone know what's the name of the song in the movie, a friend told me that amy winehouse sings it but i don't know it's name

  • it`s called DUFFY- MERCY (if you`re speaking about the song in this particular video at 1:50)

  • duffy - mercy check, thanks darling ;)

  • It looks so great!

  • wow... is the entire cast just women?

  • yes. there are no photos or anything of men, you just hear them talk about the husband. the only male in the film is the boy that is born in the last 30seconds or so
