What's really nice about corvettes is that not only is the capital cost low, but so is the maintenance cost. They are as easy to maintain as a Malibu, parts are cheap, an oil change doesn't cost a small fortune, and they have a 100,000 mile/5-year warranty.
The interior is nice too. Lots of leather and suede. If a really nice interior is important to you, spend $100,000 to upgrade the interior, and it will still be cheaper than the competition.
I'm not a corvette fan, more of a Mosler man myself. But i have to admit, that window on the Hood so you can see that fantastic engine is a nice touch.

@beeroosterm sorry, but the viper srt10 acr is a corvette zr1 in performance, however the vette has a better suspension that is adjustable and not stiff 24/7, the interior looks better, creates more horsepower, and is lighter. However, the acr is built just right, it has more weight for better grip on the tires, has more torque, and in a perfect world slightly performs better. I would take a zr1 over the acr anyday
Your pay for the power, which you get more than enough of. The main point though is that they used plastic to keep the weight down, which is done beautifully.

Face the facts: The ZR1 has a simple interior that is purposely built that way. I think it's beautiful in it doing exactly what it does. And yes, I drive an '02 Mustang GT worth less than the wheels/tires of a ZR1, but I think my point is still valid.

The corvette has a manufacturers fastest brakes and best brakes, crazy engine, lightweight car. This is not a show off how rich i am car, this car is specifically made to embarrass cars costing half a million dollars, compare this to a 911 gt2 rs, look at nurburgring lap times buddy. Corvette is one of the fastest cars built today for 110000

I got exactly 294,462 miles out of it before the oil pump broke, and it was not worth fixing. My 2002 BMW got to 80,000 miles before it needed an engine rebuild because of gaskets that melted.

Had to replace a few lines and general maintenance and rebuild the tranny at 190k miles. Never had a problem and I beat it to hell offroad every weekend. Oh, and my mustang.. When it breaks, I fix it by my own hand for almost no money. Try that with any foreign cars.. haha. Next complaint, please. This one doesn't work.

@beeroosterm sorry, but the viper srt10 acr is a corvette zr1 in performance, however the vette has a better suspension that is adjustable and not stiff 24/7, the interior looks better, creates more horsepower, and is lighter. However, the acr is built just right, it has more weight for better grip on the tires, has more torque, and in a perfect world slightly performs better. I would take a zr1 over the acr anyday
