Sorry, but this didn't help at all. You say that we think It's a treat: "if you don't worship me, you will go to hell", It is a treat. And now you say, noo, it's not that bad, if you worship him, you will go to heaven, otherwise, you go to hell. Like, now it's not a treat anymore? What?
@DoubleM55 I didn't use the word 'treat' so I am not sure where you are getting that from. This video was made for Christians that do exactly what you just said...they distort the gospel message by saying believe or go to hell. They overly focus on hell and don't talk much about heaven.
@moonglow38 If I say to you with the gun pointed at your head: "Give me all your money, and you will be saved from death!" did I use word "treat"? You can try to hide the truth by saying that god loves you, and he doesn't wont to send you to hell. But, robber also doesn't want to kill you, he just wants your money, however, If you don't cooperate, he will have to. I'm truly sorry, but I fail to see the difference between the robber and the god.
@DoubleM55 re-read your comment to me...you said 'treat'...which I now think you meant to use the word, 'threat'. I was rather confused by your comment I thought you were saying something about Heaven not being much of a treat. Now in reading your latest comment I understand what you meant. Anyway I agree with what you are saying ..you are saying the exact same thing I said in my video. Christians distort the gospel message by making it a threat...love God or burn in hell. :(
@moonglow38 Oh, yea, my bad... Sorry, I'm from Croatia, so English is not my native language, so those things happen to me sometimes... And, I understand what are you saying, just, I think that religion is actually a threat, and Christians are not doing enough to hide it, and not the other way, like you said that they 'distort the gospel'
@DoubleM55 Oh I see! Yea...it can be a struggle trying to reply to video's on here in a different language. I do the sometimes myself. I use google translator and hope it translates right! lol. The gospel isn't suppose to be a threat..its suppose to offer hope to those needing hope in this life. Its suppose to offer love and teach us to love others. Not hate on those that don't believe or threaten them with hell. Its not to be used as some weapon to hurt others, yet that does happen
(continue) which is why I made this video and others to try to get Christians back on track. I see so many that think because they are saved they are somehow better then others and they become arrogant...and they push people away from God. Its truly awful. :( If they were really saved they would be acting in love, not in hate.
@moonglow38 That would be great if you could get Christians "back on track", but until then, I must defend myself from their threats. You are right, I agree that religion should be about love, not threats, but unfortunately, It is very often complete opposite of that. Christianity even destroyed my family (Mom and dad divorced, because my mom was constantly talking about hell, and finally left my dad because he was atheist). Shortly after that, I asked myself: "Would god do this?"
@DoubleM55 Oh gosh I am truly sorry to hear this...:( It sounds like your mom didn't understand the grace of God...I hope one day she will learn this. One thing I try to do with atheists or anyone of a different faith that is being attacked by Christians is give them the scriptures to show to those attacking them...to show them they aren't following the teachings of Christ by doing what they do. If a Christians is about truth, they cannot ignore those verses.
@bluejamesv7 Ok...I would be glad to go over those with you if you are really interested...but tomorrow. Had to work tonight and need to get some sleep now.
@bluejamesv7 Ok so your objection is to Jesus being God is that correct? People I realize struggle to understand Jesus and God are one. Not two. As is the Holy Spirit. That is where the trinity comes in..still not seperate but One.
@bluejamesv7 In context: "I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images. Isaiah 42:8. Clearly He is referring to idols. Actually if you read that chapter..it is about Christ: Isaiah 42
1 “Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. (read the rest in the bible)
i am responding to moonglow38, just wish correct the verse you quoted. John 3:17 says "for God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him." to really understand the context, of this verse, one needs to read the verses efore and after, to get the full content of what is being said. Peace and love to all!
Good video. I learned, from studying scripture & resources, that hell is nothing but a myth that came from surrounding pagan religions & infested its way into the then corrupt christian church. Believe it or not, Jesus NEVER spoke about hell. Not once. Hell is found nowhere in the bible.
Google the article "hell is leaving the bible forever" and see for yourself
Hell is real and God doesn't want you to go there. Why do you think Jesus mentioned it so much? If someone's driving about to fall into a ravine, not to warn them would not be love. He's saying "You're going the wrong way! Turn around! I know the right path. I shed my blood to pull you out of there! Grab my hand quick before it's too late!
@1niftyjay I realize that...but Jesus also talks about Heaven just as much and I think there needs to be a balance...instead Christians and pastors over focus on hell making it sound like our religion is only based on fear..it becomes love God 'or else'. It gives a distorted view by over-focusing on hell. You can find thousands of video's on here of people screaming in hell. So I ask...what about Heaven?
@moonglow38 You're right. Thanks for a nice response. There's a great book about Heaven by Randy Alcorn. He mentions the same thing. Too much emphasis on Hell makes God look mean. Not mentioning Hell gives people no sense of urgency about being saved. You're right about the vids, for sure. We need more Heaven videos-good ones. Ones so, like Paul, we'd say "To go be with Jesus is better by far."
Thank God. He is the one that inspires me. I think people in this society are bombarded with messages that they'll never die (oh yeah, we die because of the sin thing too) and therefore they never think about their own mortality. My Savior came to suffer, die and beat death and sin once and for all. Although tempted like Adam, He didn't give in. I don't want to either but I'll never rise above the rank of sinful human being in this world.
SIN is the problem of mankind. Always has been, always will be. Jesus came to deliver us from SIN and from the father of sin, the devil. When our first parents gave in to the seductive, evil voice and wanted to be "like God" but without God, they sold out the entire human race to the devil. A deliverer was prophesied at that very moment. When God was cursing the serpent he said:."I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and hers, he(Jesus) will strike at your head.......
There is amazing peace knowing that God knows everything going on in the world. I hear so many people saying they don't want to be a part of a God who didn't step in and save so and so from dying....it's the enemy satan who kills steals and destroys..and we as humans have a lot to do with what happens to our bodies. The hard thing is the babies, or children. God has a plan. He can make the bad.. a lesson and change it for good...too many are turning their backs---I hope they come to Jesus soon.
@lookingup82 And people forget we chose sin first and sin allowed disease and sickness in this world so people die. :( It wasn't what God wanted. He first created Paradise for us. We rejected it.
@IamGunPoint09 are you attending a church anywhere? There is a reason, Paul in the bible tells us not to forsake fellowship with other believers.. also talking to God and asking Him to hang onto you helps.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.
@IamGunPoint09 This is why we need the Holy Ghost like they had on the day of Pentecost to keep us. It's a real experience. Acts 2:38 is still God's plan of salvation. Do it the Bibleway and be safe. God bless you real good.
@gamerzndplayerz That is interesting...since harps and clouds aren't mentioned in the bible in describing Heaven. I have heard that too which is partly way I made this video. Alot of the ideas about Heaven (and even hell actually) don't come from the bible. I think people get these ideas maybe from movies or other people and just pass them on. It really makes Heaven sound pretty boring actually...who wants to lay around on a cloud playing a harp for eternity?
@moonglow38 I read a science article once that shows our minds are flexible..meaning, unless health problems arise we are capable of continuing to learn. We never stop learning. The bible tells us we will be given new incorruptible bodies that cannot get sick or die. I think one thing we will be doing in Heaven is forever learning new and amazing things! And won't be limited by bodies crippled with age or disease. Image exploring the universe? Of learning from the greatest minds in history?
@gamerzndplayerz Heaven didn't change from two thousand years ago though..its just people don't know how else to paint Heaven other then with clouds in it. Since its not described in a physical sense the artist has to use their own imagination and so they use clouds to give the impression of 'above earth' place like clouds are. And clouds are seen as peaceful (unless its storming..lol).
yes Jesus died for our sins..we all fall short and sin which separates us from God. He is that bridge.
@moonglow38 Its kind of like we took out a huge loan at the bank but then couldn't pay it back and were about to be thrown into jail. Jesus asks if its ok to pay that loan back for us so we don't have too and don't have to go to jail. (sorry this isn't the greatest way of putting it). But its more then that. Many times people find themselves trapped in repeating the same bad things over and over again. Drinking, drugs, lying..can't stop. He sets us free from being slaves to those things.
@moonglow38 And there is even more! Not only does He set us free from lifestyle sins, but gives us freedoms we didn't have before..we are free! Not trapped in a religious system. We are free from the pressures the world puts on everyone and no longer have to listen to it. But instead learn a new way of living, free from those things having a relationship with our Creator. Which in itself is an amazing thing indeed.
@Taspearl No, not really. The Holy Spirit gives us spiritual gifts while we are here on earth among many other things, like no longer being enslaved to sin. The spiritual gifts: Romans 12, exhortation, giving, leadership, mercy, prophecy, service
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
Crowns for different things..such as the crown of life (which everyone gets that receives eternal life.) The crown of rejoicing, The incorruptible crown, The crown of righteousness, etc. Every soul we can help get saved will be a treasure laid up in heaven. That will be the greatest treasure I think.
And we will live in complete peace and love in Heaven. No more dealing sins and evils of this world as it is. No more earthquakes, no floods, no fire, no wars, no people abusing or hurting each other, no more disease, no cancer, no crippling pain...not struggles within our self, no regrets, no guilt. Everything will be as God first intended for us..how He first created things for us in Genesis. Now that will be a great treasure in Heaven indeed. :)
Ok this is what Jesus says about treasures (will take more then one post here)
Matthew 6
19 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. 21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
Jesus is speaking about material things and spiritual treasures too.
For instance for many people family is their most important treasure. When people lose everything they have in a fire or flood, they are always thankful they and their family didn't die..because those material things can be replaced. Love endures forever ..stuff doesn't.
Ephesians 3:8
Though I am the least deserving of all God’s people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ.
The bible explains what these gifts are, freedom from sin (so we are no longer slaves to sin..doing things we don't want to do but feel helpless in stopping it), peace in our hearts is a treasure. Freedom in Christ...Romans 6:14
Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
And so many more. not sure if you want to know more or if this enough.
@Taspearl You will have to ask him on his channel or video as I have blocked him. He seriously twist bible scripture leading people into sins forbidden in the bible. Jesus tells us not to store up treasures here on earth but to lay up treasures in Heaven. Matthew 6:19-20
Agree 100%!!! I've never understood the philosophy of scaring people into Heaven. We need to show them the love He has for us! That's all many people want anyway... Someone that loves them unconditionally.
I think it's never too late to call out to Jesus and be saved. Even when you're dead and in hell already. I once read about someone who had a bad NDE. He went to hell and it was horrible but he decided to pray to Jesus and he immediately got out of hell and Jesus appeared in front of him. He was saved and could even see heaven until he felt that it wasn't his time yet and was revived in his body.
@TaiFerret The bible doesn't say that though...no where does it suggest a person can be saved after death. A near death experience is just that..'near death'...
On an interesting note though I think NDE prove we do go on after death..
the bible does say that sinners will be tortured in hell. i could quote the bible directly but a link is easier:
tinyurl (DOT) com/2djpqfw
god is vengeful. see Sodom and Gomorrah for one example.
the god christians teach of is controlling vengeful and jealous
john 3:16 is one of the most quoted verses in the whole bible. i used it myself many times in my misguided years of belief but now i see that it's just words and not backed by any empirical proof of gods existence or the divinity of jesus
4:49,is an anthropomorphic, just like a furry! In the B attitudes Christ says, heaven is in you. it must be in you to live in harmony when we get to our fathers house where he is. Christ is simultaneously with us, and in his fathers house. Christ is waiting to see his image in as many humans as possible before he comes back in glory. Heaven is going to be astonishing beyond comprehension. Where your heart is there will your treasure be also. Eternal life=heaven, hell=eternal death of the soul.
Heaven + Hell as described in the fictional Bible don't exist. I know people LIKE to hope + pray for a happy, eternal afterlife. Unfortunately, you know as well as I, it's just a fantasy, a dream, a wish. Fortunately, on the contrary, there is no hell. So there is nothing to be AFRAID of. There's no Santa Claus in the sky keeping tabs on you, waiting to punish you. Don't worry. Heaven + Hell already exist simultaneously on earth - NOW! Spend more time living for and thinking about the present.
Sorry but there is so much evident that the bible it true, it takes alot of denial that it isn't. Given all the historical and archeological evidence showing the people, places and events really happened. The 2000 year old Dead Sea Scrolls is word for word what we have in our bibles today is one example of many.
God is not a Santa Claus that grants wishes and gives presents. He is our Creator and wants nothing more then a relationship with us. Nor does He wish anyone choose hell.
The Bible is always a Christian's proof. Yeah, it mixes in great accounts of war and love. But so does any book of fiction. When my 5-year old gets what he wants for Christmas, he believes! If people keep praying, eventually they'll get something they want - so they believe "HE" must be true.
I'm just saying don't make afterlife (a hopeful wish) more of a priority than real life - the HERE + NOW.
@moonglow38 The Dead Sea Scrolls don't prove events - just like the Bible doesn't. Your Biblical god promises the gift of heaven in a blissful afterlife, as long as you do as he says.....that's very much like Santa. However, none of you know who's truly "saved" anyway. Good luck.
@YnoT0207 I never said the dead sea scrolls proved the events in the bible happened...archeological and historical documents show that. The Dead Sea scroll though do show this wasn't something just made up in recent history. They also confirm the bibles we have now have not changed. And yea...we do know who is saved...anyone that accepts Christ's free gift.
@YnoT0207 John 1:12: “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God…”
1 John 5:11-13: “And this is his testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.”
Acts 16:31: “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved…”
@YnoT0207 Those that are good to their neighbor even the loving gays, furries of the furry fandom ,and the zoosexuals ,etc.To not be would be taking Gods name in vain.
Gods people are wise ,and harmless, peacemakers, forgiving 7x70, and portray the fruits of Gods spirit, Galatians, 5:22;23. KJV, Do theses things, and Give God the glory for it is Christ that is in you doing of his good pleasure.
@YnoT0207 :: You have confused what you 'know' with what you have imagined. There is massive evidence for an afterlife. Deny all you like, it is there if you care to look.
@k0smon never mind..sorry I didn't realize you were talking to someone else on here..the posts are also out of order making it impossible to follow the conversation going on...
@k0smon Yes, the charade of religions' promises will fool people until the sun starts to burn out. That will be the end of earth and mankind. Each one of us is lucky to be alive here + now on this planet. We should act accordingly. "God" will not end our world - like most religions say - but the natural death of the star at the center of our solar sysem will.....unless, of course, we destroy ourselves with nuclear war or make water undrinkable through pollution.
@YnoT0207 Since we are all here for less than a hundred years, it is a good idea to find out if this is all there is. And there is a lot of information that life continues in another form after we leave this body. If I am to spend eternity in that condition, I want to find out more about it,and I have. Take a gander at "Life in the World Unseen", download from the internet. By the way, the Oahspe indicates man will be on this earth another 40,000 years.
if you have empirical evidence that proves the bilble is true then i will do my best to tell the world but to my knowledge no such evidence exists and without it i will not let myself be controlled by believing in a god and afterlife that in all likely hood don't exist
@TGDragon I don't have much use for the bible. I agree with Bart Ehrman that the bible is full of contradictions and error. My belief in God is based on a natural instinct, the complexity of the universe, and information from psychic sources. My 'bible' is a book called Oahspe. Psychic sources tell me there is no religion in heaven, and we don't need religion here. I consider myself spiritual, not religious. See victorzammit, com for evidence of an afterlife.
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
@TGDragon why don't you start by checking CARM out...and there is a book called,' I don't have enough faith to be an atheist'...there is so much evidence that proves the bible is true, its hard to deny.
@TGDragon Actually 80% of the bible has been proven..the people, the places and the events. Did you know it takes less evidence then that to convict someone of murder?
People read less evidence about someone in history and don't question they existed...so why so much difficult with God? Everything around us proves there is a God.
@moonglow38 no everything around us demonstrates how natural processes going on everyday shape have us and everything else
yes many of the events in the bible took place and many of the people and places existed but that doesn't mean they did all the things the bible says they did or that things happened for the reasons the writers of the bible claim. back then if something wasn't understood it was attributed to a divine being but now most of us know better. even the plagues can now be explained
@TGDragon beloved furry friend ,and brother forever.Your furry eyes will see what My furry self will tell thee. The things that men makes is evident before our eyes, and the the things of life ,and those things that men did not make are also evident before our eyes, Give God the glory for those things, that men did not make. and all of the good that you do to whoever.
@kobidobidog why should i accredit the things men didn't make to god when i know that they were created by a natural process that we can observe and not god?
@TGDragon gently I speak, God is not constrained by time, and could have begun the creation of life at anytime.Whatever is made shows that there was a maker of whatever.Men use their hands that are physical, and God makes life with things that are not physical because God is not physical, yet when his spirit is in whoever takes on the characteristics-image of God.beloved furry friend God is the natural process. The trolls that harass and oppress you do not have that loving spirit of God in them
@kobidobidog none of the processes i am talking about are god.
the strong live and weak die.
gravity creates suns and planets and gives them their orbits.
land is eroded by the elements and new land created by volcanoes .
none of these processes show any sign of a higher intelligence. no sign of an all powerful, everlasting, all knowing supreme being and they have no need for one.
@TGDragon Heavens declare the glory of God. Firmament shows his handwork. Have faith furry friend. That will calm thy soul making God happy, and your neighbors.God is not in the fire, flood or earth quake, but the still small voice the impressions on the mind. Unbeknown to thy furry self he is teaching you. You are good to your neighbor. This is what matters for all of eternity. When Christ comes back in glory give him the glory for the good you do.Jesus working in you doing his good pleasure.
@TGDragon I see something in you that contradicts what you told me ,and that is a good thing. I know that you want to do good because you e want to,and because of this, you have Christ in you doing of his good pleasure doing good to your neighbor refreshing your neighbor even as a river refreshes whoever that drinks from it. Thou has not blind faith. you have real faith. dong unto other even as you want others to do unto you shows faith that is real. Not blind at all. Peace of God be with you.
@kobidobidog i have no faith in god. i do good because i believe that the more people are good to each other the better the world will become.
i also believe that when people learn to be good to one another there will be no need for religion and we will have peace. while Nero's actions were unacceptable i believe he was correct and keep a Cross of Nero (peace sign) with me at most times
@TGDragon verily I say unto thee ,your mind,God's mind are one, inseparable.
religion as you know is is a den of ravenous demons who condemn humans giving cruel accusations giving guilt. You on the other hand are a sweet savor to my Lord God because he sees his beloved son in you. This is what saves and makes your furry self to be what you are. There is a place for you in heaven and heaven is beginning in you. in God's house Your heart will be filling with so much Joy you cannot contain it all.
@moonglow38 what he does in his spare time is his business and as for twisting scripture, it's been "twisted" so many times by so many people it's nothing new
@TGDragon Even if it involves abusing animals and is against the law? Ok, well I just wanted you to know what you might be learning from him. He preaches the scriptures, yet doesn't follow them himself. Claims to be a Christian yet ignores what verses he doesn't like. I just wanted to make sure you knew what you were getting yourself into.
@moonglow38 i believe in what can be described by math and explained by science. there are still things we do not understand but they will come in time.
i believe there is no reason to say that god did something if we can explain how and why it happened. (like the plagues of Egypt)
i believe the reason of life is simply to live
my beliefs are also subject to change as i learn more
@TGDragon Personally, I love science! Everyday its catching up more and more with the bible. Thanks for explaining your views. I realize science explains some events in the bible...what they can't explain is how these things just happened at exactly right time they were needed to happen. ;)
@moonglow38 i'm not sure what you mean by science is catching up with the bible
well in the case of the plagues it wouldn't have been that hard. they were slaves for many years and i'm sure there we're many who tried to free them. nine times out of ten the one who does something great is remembered while the ones that tried and failed before are quickly forgotten
@TGDragon for instance Paul tells Timothy to not just drink water, but a little wine for his stomach problems. Studies done in the last few years shows a little wine is good for us health wise. Studies also show being a drunk causes alot of organ damage...the bible says not to be a drunk. So see science is backing up the bible on this. There are many more examples like this all throughout the bible. You can google science and the bible and find some interesting facts.
@moonglow38 As far as the plagues in Egypt it wasn't just about Moses saving the people. You were talking about the plagues..if you read the actual account in the bible the plagues happens 'when' Moses made the command for them to happen through God. Exodus 7
19 Then the Lord said to Moses: “Tell Aaron, ‘Take your staff and raise your hand over the waters of Egypt—all its rivers, canals, ponds, and all the reservoirs. Turn all the water to blood.
Everywhere in Egypt the water will turn to blood, even the water stored in wooden bowls and stone pots.’” 20 So Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord commanded them. As Pharaoh and all of his officials watched, Aaron raised his staff and struck the water of the Nile. Suddenly, the whole river turned to blood!
So this and all the other plagues happened right when it needed to happen..that scientist can't explain. That these things happened right when Moses or Aaron commanded it too.
@moonglow38 they and many others knew about remedies like that because of they have been observing wines effects on the body for generations.
when you get drunk you do things you otherwise would not so it was probably considered wrong by many people to get drunk so it was of course incorporated into the religion
@TGDragon Oh I am sure back then they knew about the behavioral problems from getting drunk...not sure how they could have known about the early death or organ damage though (but God did know this) but its only been a few years that they discovered the health benefits of drinking just a little wine a day. That is why I said science is just now catching up with the bible. the big bang is another one Like I said this is just one example of many in the bible. You can google it and find many more.
@moonglow38 i never said they knew about the organ damage but it wouldn't have been hard for them to find out that drinking a little wine when your stomach is upset would help. you have to remember that they would likely drink wine any time they would because back then drinking water was dangerous
@TGDragon Yea..but what I am saying is science just now figured this out..just a couple of years ago. The bible knew thousands of years ago wine was medically beneficial.
@moonglow38 the people of that time knew it would make an upset stomach feel better nothing more.
i believe you've misspoken here. as you've pointed out the people in the time of the bible already knew it could sooth the stomach and if i'm not mistaken it's also an old wife's remedy so if i propose that science didn't just figure this out (as i'd assume at least one scientist already knew this remedy) but rather explained why it worked and the long term implications.
@TGDragon I am not talking about old wives tales though, of which half are not proven scientifically..they are discounted as being untrue. I am saying it was just five or six years ago that science actually studied the affects of wine and found health benefits for it.
Ok how about this. Early astronomers thought the bible was wrong about their being 'countless stars' and said they could count them. then they made a stronger telescopic and discovered they are indeed countless.
@moonglow38 but some do work and i was just pointing out that it was pretty much common knowledge even before the why was explained by science
the first thought of anyone looking up into the night sky is something like "Wow! There are so many you couldn't count them all" (or at least that was the thought i had the first time i really looked and the night sky) it's ok for the average person to believe that but it's an astronomers job to test it and see if it's true
@TGDragon Ok so you would believe an old wives tale but not the bible is what you are saying? I thought you believed in science and wanted facts..not rumors (which is what old wives tales are). And for all we know they got the idea from the bible..after all its been around two thousand plus years.
I don't think astronomers will ever get a total count on the stars since they are constantly dying and new ones being born.
@moonglow38 no that is far from what i am saying. i used the fact that it's an old wives tale and in the bible to show how common the knowledge of that remedy is.
however due to the fact that it has been proven in full yes i will believe it way before i believe the bible
they will be much easier to count them when we're out there among them.
@moonglow38 by the way it is not a scientific fact that the stars are innumerable there are just too many for any person or group of people to count at once. many stars have already been named and numbered and though it will take many many many years the human race just might live to see the day when all the stars in our galaxy at the least are counted.
Job 38:31-33 (New King James Version) 31 “Can you bind the cluster of the Pleiades, Or loose the belt of Orion? 32 Can you bring out Mazzaroth in its season? Or can you guide the Great Bear with its cubs? 33 Do you know the ordinances of the heavens? Can you set their dominion over the earth?
Mazzaroth means Constellations. The Pleiades also known as M45 or the Seven Sisters, is the name of an open cluster in the constellation of Taurus.
Remember that your devil is ruling the world now. The great deceiver. Twisting your knowledge of good and evil. Making you spread this idea of heaven and for this sin you will be tormented. Your souls will be his for the taking.
er..no. I am a born again Christian. All my sin, past, present and future are forgiven. If I am sinning (I did include scripture! so you are saying God's Word is incorrect)..then you should be praying that the Holy Spirit corrects me...the only unforgivable sin I could commit is to blasphemy against the Holy Spirit which I have not done. You should pray for me and not be judging me in this way. Only God can condemn.
If your devil in effect rules the world now don't you think it could affect you line of thought. What would it/he do if not affect your line of thought? You think that you can outsmart the devil, with all your wits and beliefs, while he's handling you in scores and bunches.
I do not pray, but I can wish for that you start realizing that the holy spirit is a state of mind and wishing for heaven will lead you nowhere good.
So, no, I did not judge you. You only thought I did.
Yea you did..you said my soul would be tormented for spreading ideas about Heaven..along with other things. I think its odd that you believe the devil is real but the Holy spirit is just a state of mind. In other words, not real. The devil does not rule this world. If he did by your reasoning then he could be affecting your thoughts also. What I said about Heaven is in the bible..the Word of God. The things I said weren't in the bible, female angels, baby angles, etc, aren't in the bible.
@SLORRIFJART321 : The idea of heaven prompted by the devil? It does not follow. And he is not ruling me by any means, assuming he (the devil) really exists.
@k0smon Well if he doesn't exist then he might not rule you, that's could be logical, but what if he in fact does exist, what would you think he's up to then?
Think about it. What could the devil be up to in days like these?
Promising you an afterlife in heaven perhaps. Making you believe that it's a promise from god.
@SLORRIFJART321 If he did exist, I would make every effort to stay away from him. My information about heaven comes from an entirely different source.
@SLORRIFJART321 The deceiver uses condemnation, accusing words giving guilt. are you doing those things? Heaven begins in you. Sin is having a body that dies. That is corruptible. All of us are. That is why Christ must be in us to save our soul. To be with God is life. To not be with life is to be with the one who will perish taking those that follow him doing bad to their neighbor. Satan will be the one who kills both the body, and the soul. Those will be turned to dust, and be forgotten.
@kobidobidog wow...that isn't what the bible says: Matthew 10:28 “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Its not sinful to have our God given bodies either. Where are you getting this stuff from?
@moonglow38 Fearing God,is not as humans see it. One does not want to make God sad. Doing good to your neighbor makes God,and your neighbor glad. Both are connected don’t you see. Make one happy, and the other one is filled with glee. There is no glee with Satan, and Satan is the one who kills the soul of those that are unfit to be in heaven filled with hate, condemning words giving guilt. Satan will try, and deceive many looking like the glorified Jesus calling for condemnation, hear him not!
@kobidobidog I guess you will have to argue with God and His Word because only God can destroy the soul in hell. There is nothing in the bible that says satan can bother or touch those in hell...he will be in his own hell. Fearing God is not fear like being afraid of a gunman..it means having great respect. This hasn't a thing to do with condemnation btw...not sure why you are making that connection here.
@moonglow38 What destroys the soul in hell is a person who refuses the everlasting Love of God believing Satan’s lie just like Adam, and eve did in the Garden of Eden. God is life therefore God cannot give death. Satan is the one who gives death, and death will be swallowed up in victory. all that follow Satan follow death and will get death just like Satan will get death. This planet is getting death because humans who bought Satan's lie live on this earth. God is going to make all things new
@kobidobidog Ok so what do you think this verse means? Jesus says this: Matthew 10: 28 “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
@moonglow38, you are not reading from the KJV,28,And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. then read,29,Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 30But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Father God cares, and gives, preserves life, kills nothing.
@kobidobidog Yes I have read it in content. And yes I know God cares..but God is also a God of judgment....have you never read the Old Testament? The flood..the destroying of Sodom and Gomorrah...Revelation in the New Testament? Are you honestly saying you think the 'he' in that verse means satan? That satan can not only kill our bodies but our souls too? Jesus was clearly talking about God in that whole passage, He didn't switch from talking about satan to God.
@moonglow38 How Gods judgment works. Humans that have done good with Christ doing his good work in them, and there are the once who think having heavy hand using fear, condemning, accusing words giving guilt sticking out their chest thinking they are doing a good work are going to try, and run from Jesus when they see him when he comes in glory. Redeemed will not run. Jesus will only have to stand there in his glory. The beast, and the false prophet rain fire down, revelaton13.
@kobidobidog I agree with you that we should not be judging and condmening nonbelievers..I made a video about that titled, "So you call yourself a Christian' that covers just that. We aren't to be hateful and condmening. We aren't to judge but God will. So you didn't answer my other questions..about the flood and Sodom and Gomorrah.
What do you think happens to nonbelievers that have rejected God and want nothing to do with Him?
@moonglow38 This is what happens: They are fair game to the devil who cooks, their soul like we cook, and eat food. Devils are like eager vultures jockeying on a dead carcass vying for what they think is the best parts cursing God while they are eating. They are the once coking human souls with fire as described in Revelation 13 when the beast ,and the false prophet deceive many. Devils want to prove God law cannot be kept. We can with a broken, and contrite heart, then Christ in us saves us.
@moonglow38 What happened to the Sodom and Gomorrah humans is because they were not under the protectio0n of God, but you must remember that the spirit of God for a moment left Jesus, and he died. so ever if the spirit of God for a moment leaves this planet, and chaos is the result. Do not give up hope in God.The flood humans were faithless, and did not believe what Noah said. They would have had a nice tour of the boat, If they chose to then maybe a few would have joined Noah, but no one did.
@moonglow38 Humans forsook God, and that is why those things happened. look at the attitude of the humans that were in Sodom ,and Gomorrah they wanted to bash in lots door.trolls do that to you The humans in Noah day were scoffing at Noah when he built his Ark on dry land. Satan can kill the soul ,and that is what matters Please beloved furry friend harden not your heart toward God. He loves you more than your furry heart can possibly imagine wanting to give you the things you heart desires .
@moonglow38 it is when humans pull away from God that Satan does his evil work. I had a dream in my darkest hour with God, and God came to me in a dream, at that time, and told me four words that I would not have spoken when I was awake. at that time "God is not evil." What I am telling you now - God is the epitome of good.
@moonglow38 hell is eternal death where the God of life is not. Therefore no life of any kind. The God given bodies that will last forever will be flesh, and bone body like Jesus had when he was raised from the dead being seen by his disciples in a locked room. Our bodies are flesh, blood, and that combination is corruptible. Nothing corruptible will be in heaven. Therefore our corruptible bodies are sinful Therefore do not judge least ye be judged, and no longer torment the zoo, gay, whoever.
@kobidobidog I am having a really hard time understanding you. Why are you talking about the zoo? Yes I know we will be given incorruptible bodies in Heaven but there is nothing in the bible that suggests our earthly bodies are sinnful..they just grow old and suffer sickness and so forth..
@moonglow38 The zoosexuals or whatever name whoever wants to give them that have sex with another species ,and love like God loves are being persecuted just like Jesus was persecuted when he was on this earth. This can mean only one thing. Satan is the one behind the persecution. Is this clear enough that our physical body is sin?Psalm 51:5:King James Bible
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
@kobidobidog O no mister, having a corruptible body that dies is not a sin, it is life. "To be with god" is not life, it is death at best, or more likely just nothing.
Yes, I am using accusing words giving guilt, but I am not deceiving you.
I am not trying to lure you away from this "heaven" of yours, I am just trying to tell you that there is no heaven. Nor is there any jesus. But satan lives within you, making you act the way you do. Satan is not a person, it is the great deceiver within.
@SLORRIFJART321 Corinthians 15:50-51,KJ V,Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. , God is interested in eternal life. Not this dead end life in the corruptible flesh. Sin will not be in heaven ether. See the connection? Give the first two, and the devil is in you. Thou art blind to God ,and the life around you that speak of God. Have faith in heaven, and God to make God happy, and your neighbor as well. .
@moonglow38 The jesus was pretty sure that he should be taken up to "his father in heaven" but when he realized that this was not going to happen and there was only agonizing pain there hanging on the cross he cried out in vain: my god, my god, why have you forsaken me? (there was no reply)
This is how the story goes, so I'm only saying that if jesus existed he as well led a dead end life.
@SLORRIFJART321 er...actually He was taken up to Heaven..I guess you didn't read that part. He wasn't suppose to be taken up while on the cross, He was suppose to die for our sins, then God raised Him from the dead..after a certain amount of time passed where many saw Him, then He went to Heaven and He was quoting and OT scripture as He did quiet often: Psalm 22: 1 My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me, And from the words of My groaning?
@moonglow38 No, he was not. According to Paul he was not taken anywhere.
Ok, so if he was quoting from the scriptures don't you think that he could have found something "better" to say just before he died if he didn't mean it.
@SLORRIFJART321 No...that Psalms, if you read through it, was a prophecy of what was going to happen to Him. (Actually what He was enduring at that time). Jesus often quoted scriptures (which the Jews knew the OT scriptures well) to show them how it pointed to Him. John 5:39 “You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me! 40 Yet you refuse to come to me to receive this life.
See Jesus came for the Jews first. They should have understood.
continue. And while many did come to believe in Him, many Jews still rejected Him. So then the offer of salvation went out to the Gentiles (meaning everyone else). Anyway if you read Acts 1 you will see Jesus ascending to Heaven. Even Paul says Christ sits at the right hand side of God now. So I really don't know what you are reading that makes you think Jesus didn't ascend to Heaven.
What?
DoubleM55 1 month ago
@DoubleM55 I didn't use the word 'treat' so I am not sure where you are getting that from. This video was made for Christians that do exactly what you just said...they distort the gospel message by saying believe or go to hell. They overly focus on hell and don't talk much about heaven.
moonglow38 1 month ago
@moonglow38 If I say to you with the gun pointed at your head: "Give me all your money, and you will be saved from death!" did I use word "treat"? You can try to hide the truth by saying that god loves you, and he doesn't wont to send you to hell. But, robber also doesn't want to kill you, he just wants your money, however, If you don't cooperate, he will have to. I'm truly sorry, but I fail to see the difference between the robber and the god.
DoubleM55 1 month ago
@DoubleM55 re-read your comment to me...you said 'treat'...which I now think you meant to use the word, 'threat'. I was rather confused by your comment I thought you were saying something about Heaven not being much of a treat. Now in reading your latest comment I understand what you meant. Anyway I agree with what you are saying ..you are saying the exact same thing I said in my video. Christians distort the gospel message by making it a threat...love God or burn in hell. :(
moonglow38 1 month ago
@moonglow38 Oh, yea, my bad... Sorry, I'm from Croatia, so English is not my native language, so those things happen to me sometimes... And, I understand what are you saying, just, I think that religion is actually a threat, and Christians are not doing enough to hide it, and not the other way, like you said that they 'distort the gospel'
DoubleM55 1 month ago
@DoubleM55 Oh I see! Yea...it can be a struggle trying to reply to video's on here in a different language. I do the sometimes myself. I use google translator and hope it translates right! lol. The gospel isn't suppose to be a threat..its suppose to offer hope to those needing hope in this life. Its suppose to offer love and teach us to love others. Not hate on those that don't believe or threaten them with hell. Its not to be used as some weapon to hurt others, yet that does happen
moonglow38 1 month ago
(continue) which is why I made this video and others to try to get Christians back on track. I see so many that think because they are saved they are somehow better then others and they become arrogant...and they push people away from God. Its truly awful. :( If they were really saved they would be acting in love, not in hate.
moonglow38 1 month ago
@moonglow38 That would be great if you could get Christians "back on track", but until then, I must defend myself from their threats. You are right, I agree that religion should be about love, not threats, but unfortunately, It is very often complete opposite of that. Christianity even destroyed my family (Mom and dad divorced, because my mom was constantly talking about hell, and finally left my dad because he was atheist). Shortly after that, I asked myself: "Would god do this?"
DoubleM55 1 month ago
@DoubleM55 Oh gosh I am truly sorry to hear this...:( It sounds like your mom didn't understand the grace of God...I hope one day she will learn this. One thing I try to do with atheists or anyone of a different faith that is being attacked by Christians is give them the scriptures to show to those attacking them...to show them they aren't following the teachings of Christ by doing what they do. If a Christians is about truth, they cannot ignore those verses.
moonglow38 1 month ago
@bluejamesv7 Ok...I would be glad to go over those with you if you are really interested...but tomorrow. Had to work tonight and need to get some sleep now.
moonglow38 3 months ago
@bluejamesv7 Ok so your objection is to Jesus being God is that correct? People I realize struggle to understand Jesus and God are one. Not two. As is the Holy Spirit. That is where the trinity comes in..still not seperate but One.
moonglow38 3 months ago

Lightmane321 9 months ago
Hell is real and God doesn't want you to go there. Why do you think Jesus mentioned it so much? If someone's driving about to fall into a ravine, not to warn them would not be love. He's saying "You're going the wrong way! Turn around! I know the right path. I shed my blood to pull you out of there! Grab my hand quick before it's too late!
1niftyjay 9 months ago
@1niftyjay I realize that...but Jesus also talks about Heaven just as much and I think there needs to be a balance...instead Christians and pastors over focus on hell making it sound like our religion is only based on fear..it becomes love God 'or else'. It gives a distorted view by over-focusing on hell. You can find thousands of video's on here of people screaming in hell. So I ask...what about Heaven?
moonglow38 9 months ago
@moonglow38 You're right. Thanks for a nice response. There's a great book about Heaven by Randy Alcorn. He mentions the same thing. Too much emphasis on Hell makes God look mean. Not mentioning Hell gives people no sense of urgency about being saved. You're right about the vids, for sure. We need more Heaven videos-good ones. Ones so, like Paul, we'd say "To go be with Jesus is better by far."
1niftyjay 9 months ago

@IamGunPoint09 are you attending a church anywhere? There is a reason, Paul in the bible tells us not to forsake fellowship with other believers.. also talking to God and asking Him to hang onto you helps.
Romans 8:38
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@IamGunPoint09 This is why we need the Holy Ghost like they had on the day of Pentecost to keep us. It's a real experience. Acts 2:38 is still God's plan of salvation. Do it the Bibleway and be safe. God bless you real good.

sorry but 'basking in some zombies glory'' just doesnt sound like fun

why cant heaven be suited to you , not to the majority ..... that whole equality thing takes it abit too far???

@gamerzndplayerz who said Heaven would be the same for everyone? Or experienced the same way.

@moonglow38 pretty much every christian i have ever met , every painting concerning heaven. harps , clouds , jesus who made that up anyway?
i just watched a video interviewing several christians .... they all said clouds and light
ask anyone about hell it is red , fire , pain ...... why is hell on default yet heaven may not be
gamerzndplayerz 1 year ago
@gamerzndplayerz That is interesting...since harps and clouds aren't mentioned in the bible in describing Heaven. I have heard that too which is partly way I made this video. Alot of the ideas about Heaven (and even hell actually) don't come from the bible. I think people get these ideas maybe from movies or other people and just pass them on. It really makes Heaven sound pretty boring actually...who wants to lay around on a cloud playing a harp for eternity?
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 I read a science article once that shows our minds are flexible..meaning, unless health problems arise we are capable of continuing to learn. We never stop learning. The bible tells us we will be given new incorruptible bodies that cannot get sick or die. I think one thing we will be doing in Heaven is forever learning new and amazing things! And won't be limited by bodies crippled with age or disease. Image exploring the universe? Of learning from the greatest minds in history?
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 exactly! .... i myself have never read the bible (no do i EVER plan too)
nearly all your picture in your video contained clouds/light etc
when will peaple learn that the heaven of 2000 years ago does not fit the heaven of today
the church has evolved mostly (more lenient on certain topics such as divorce)
yet we all still see heaven as this cloudy place
please tell me what jesus actually did ...??? he died for my sins.... is that it ???
gamerzndplayerz 1 year ago
@gamerzndplayerz Heaven didn't change from two thousand years ago though..its just people don't know how else to paint Heaven other then with clouds in it. Since its not described in a physical sense the artist has to use their own imagination and so they use clouds to give the impression of 'above earth' place like clouds are. And clouds are seen as peaceful (unless its storming..lol).
yes Jesus died for our sins..we all fall short and sin which separates us from God. He is that bridge.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 Its kind of like we took out a huge loan at the bank but then couldn't pay it back and were about to be thrown into jail. Jesus asks if its ok to pay that loan back for us so we don't have too and don't have to go to jail. (sorry this isn't the greatest way of putting it). But its more then that. Many times people find themselves trapped in repeating the same bad things over and over again. Drinking, drugs, lying..can't stop. He sets us free from being slaves to those things.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 And there is even more! Not only does He set us free from lifestyle sins, but gives us freedoms we didn't have before..we are free! Not trapped in a religious system. We are free from the pressures the world puts on everyone and no longer have to listen to it. But instead learn a new way of living, free from those things having a relationship with our Creator. Which in itself is an amazing thing indeed.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@Taspearl No, not really. The Holy Spirit gives us spiritual gifts while we are here on earth among many other things, like no longer being enslaved to sin. The spiritual gifts: Romans 12, exhortation, giving, leadership, mercy, prophecy, service
teaching
1 Corinthians 12,administration, apostle
discernment, faith, healing, helps, knowledge, miracles (and more)
The treasure is Heaven are being given new incorruptible bodies..meaning these bodies cannot get sick or die. (more next post)
moonglow38 1 year ago
Revelation 21:4
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
Crowns for different things..such as the crown of life (which everyone gets that receives eternal life.) The crown of rejoicing, The incorruptible crown, The crown of righteousness, etc. Every soul we can help get saved will be a treasure laid up in heaven. That will be the greatest treasure I think.
moonglow38 1 year ago
And we will live in complete peace and love in Heaven. No more dealing sins and evils of this world as it is. No more earthquakes, no floods, no fire, no wars, no people abusing or hurting each other, no more disease, no cancer, no crippling pain...not struggles within our self, no regrets, no guilt. Everything will be as God first intended for us..how He first created things for us in Genesis. Now that will be a great treasure in Heaven indeed. :)
moonglow38 1 year ago
@Taspearl I did...or do you mean what are the treasures in Heaven?
moonglow38 1 year ago
@Taspearl
Jesus is speaking about material things and spiritual treasures too.
moonglow38 1 year ago
For instance for many people family is their most important treasure. When people lose everything they have in a fire or flood, they are always thankful they and their family didn't die..because those material things can be replaced. Love endures forever ..stuff doesn't.
Ephesians 3:8
Though I am the least deserving of all God’s people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ.
The treasures here are gifts from God.
moonglow38 1 year ago
The bible explains what these gifts are, freedom from sin (so we are no longer slaves to sin..doing things we don't want to do but feel helpless in stopping it), peace in our hearts is a treasure. Freedom in Christ...Romans 6:14
Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
And so many more. not sure if you want to know more or if this enough.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@Taspearl You will have to ask him on his channel or video as I have blocked him. He seriously twist bible scripture leading people into sins forbidden in the bible. Jesus tells us not to store up treasures here on earth but to lay up treasures in Heaven. Matthew 6:19-20
moonglow38 1 year ago

I think it's never too late to call out to Jesus and be saved. Even when you're dead and in hell already. I once read about someone who had a bad NDE. He went to hell and it was horrible but he decided to pray to Jesus and he immediately got out of hell and Jesus appeared in front of him. He was saved and could even see heaven until he felt that it wasn't his time yet and was revived in his body.
TaiFerret 1 year ago
@TaiFerret The bible doesn't say that though...no where does it suggest a person can be saved after death. A near death experience is just that..'near death'...
On an interesting note though I think NDE prove we do go on after death..

YnoT0207 1 year ago
Sorry but there is so much evident that the bible it true, it takes alot of denial that it isn't. Given all the historical and archeological evidence showing the people, places and events really happened. The 2000 year old Dead Sea Scrolls is word for word what we have in our bibles today is one example of many.
God is not a Santa Claus that grants wishes and gives presents. He is our Creator and wants nothing more then a relationship with us. Nor does He wish anyone choose hell.
moonglow38 1 year ago
The Bible is always a Christian's proof. Yeah, it mixes in great accounts of war and love. But so does any book of fiction. When my 5-year old gets what he wants for Christmas, he believes! If people keep praying, eventually they'll get something they want - so they believe "HE" must be true.
I'm just saying don't make afterlife (a hopeful wish) more of a priority than real life - the HERE + NOW.
YnoT0207 1 year ago
@moonglow38 The Dead Sea Scrolls don't prove events - just like the Bible doesn't. Your Biblical god promises the gift of heaven in a blissful afterlife, as long as you do as he says.....that's very much like Santa. However, none of you know who's truly "saved" anyway. Good luck.
YnoT0207 1 year ago
@YnoT0207 I never said the dead sea scrolls proved the events in the bible happened...archeological and historical documents show that. The Dead Sea scroll though do show this wasn't something just made up in recent history. They also confirm the bibles we have now have not changed. And yea...we do know who is saved...anyone that accepts Christ's free gift.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 Better be careful - only "god knows" who is truly saved.

Yea we know.

YnoT0207 1 year ago
@YnoT0207 Since we are all here for less than a hundred years, it is a good idea to find out if this is all there is. And there is a lot of information that life continues in another form after we leave this body. If I am to spend eternity in that condition, I want to find out more about it,and I have. Take a gander at "Life in the World Unseen", download from the internet. By the way, the Oahspe indicates man will be on this earth another 40,000 years.

TGDragon 1 year ago
@TGDragon I don't have much use for the bible. I agree with Bart Ehrman that the bible is full of contradictions and error. My belief in God is based on a natural instinct, the complexity of the universe, and information from psychic sources. My 'bible' is a book called Oahspe. Psychic sources tell me there is no religion in heaven, and we don't need religion here. I consider myself spiritual, not religious. See victorzammit, com for evidence of an afterlife.

@TGDragon why don't you start by checking CARM out...and there is a book called,' I don't have enough faith to be an atheist'...there is so much evidence that proves the bible is true, its hard to deny.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 there may be proof that some of the events happened but none that prove the existence of god
TGDragon 1 year ago
@TGDragon Actually 80% of the bible has been proven..the people, the places and the events. Did you know it takes less evidence then that to convict someone of murder?
People read less evidence about someone in history and don't question they existed...so why so much difficult with God? Everything around us proves there is a God.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 no everything around us demonstrates how natural processes going on everyday shape have us and everything else
yes many of the events in the bible took place and many of the people and places existed but that doesn't mean they did all the things the bible says they did or that things happened for the reasons the writers of the bible claim. back then if something wasn't understood it was attributed to a divine being but now most of us know better. even the plagues can now be explained

@moonglow38 i believe in what can be described by math and explained by science. there are still things we do not understand but they will come in time.
i believe there is no reason to say that god did something if we can explain how and why it happened. (like the plagues of Egypt)
i believe the reason of life is simply to live
my beliefs are also subject to change as i learn more
TGDragon 1 year ago
@TGDragon Personally, I love science! Everyday its catching up more and more with the bible. Thanks for explaining your views. I realize science explains some events in the bible...what they can't explain is how these things just happened at exactly right time they were needed to happen. ;)
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 i'm not sure what you mean by science is catching up with the bible
well in the case of the plagues it wouldn't have been that hard. they were slaves for many years and i'm sure there we're many who tried to free them. nine times out of ten the one who does something great is remembered while the ones that tried and failed before are quickly forgotten
TGDragon 1 year ago
@TGDragon for instance Paul tells Timothy to not just drink water, but a little wine for his stomach problems. Studies done in the last few years shows a little wine is good for us health wise. Studies also show being a drunk causes alot of organ damage...the bible says not to be a drunk. So see science is backing up the bible on this. There are many more examples like this all throughout the bible. You can google science and the bible and find some interesting facts.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 As far as the plagues in Egypt it wasn't just about Moses saving the people. You were talking about the plagues..if you read the actual account in the bible the plagues happens 'when' Moses made the command for them to happen through God. Exodus 7
19 Then the Lord said to Moses: “Tell Aaron, ‘Take your staff and raise your hand over the waters of Egypt—all its rivers, canals, ponds, and all the reservoirs. Turn all the water to blood.
moonglow38 1 year ago
Everywhere in Egypt the water will turn to blood, even the water stored in wooden bowls and stone pots.’” 20 So Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord commanded them. As Pharaoh and all of his officials watched, Aaron raised his staff and struck the water of the Nile. Suddenly, the whole river turned to blood!
So this and all the other plagues happened right when it needed to happen..that scientist can't explain. That these things happened right when Moses or Aaron commanded it too.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 i call it good story telling.
while some things in the bible can be backed up with proof this is one part (of many that can not
TGDragon 1 year ago
@moonglow38 they and many others knew about remedies like that because of they have been observing wines effects on the body for generations.
when you get drunk you do things you otherwise would not so it was probably considered wrong by many people to get drunk so it was of course incorporated into the religion
TGDragon 1 year ago
@TGDragon Oh I am sure back then they knew about the behavioral problems from getting drunk...not sure how they could have known about the early death or organ damage though (but God did know this) but its only been a few years that they discovered the health benefits of drinking just a little wine a day. That is why I said science is just now catching up with the bible. the big bang is another one Like I said this is just one example of many in the bible. You can google it and find many more.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 i never said they knew about the organ damage but it wouldn't have been hard for them to find out that drinking a little wine when your stomach is upset would help. you have to remember that they would likely drink wine any time they would because back then drinking water was dangerous
TGDragon 1 year ago
@TGDragon Yea..but what I am saying is science just now figured this out..just a couple of years ago. The bible knew thousands of years ago wine was medically beneficial.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 the people of that time knew it would make an upset stomach feel better nothing more.
i believe you've misspoken here. as you've pointed out the people in the time of the bible already knew it could sooth the stomach and if i'm not mistaken it's also an old wife's remedy so if i propose that science didn't just figure this out (as i'd assume at least one scientist already knew this remedy) but rather explained why it worked and the long term implications.
TGDragon 1 year ago
@TGDragon I am not talking about old wives tales though, of which half are not proven scientifically..they are discounted as being untrue. I am saying it was just five or six years ago that science actually studied the affects of wine and found health benefits for it.
Ok how about this. Early astronomers thought the bible was wrong about their being 'countless stars' and said they could count them. then they made a stronger telescopic and discovered they are indeed countless.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 but some do work and i was just pointing out that it was pretty much common knowledge even before the why was explained by science
the first thought of anyone looking up into the night sky is something like "Wow! There are so many you couldn't count them all" (or at least that was the thought i had the first time i really looked and the night sky) it's ok for the average person to believe that but it's an astronomers job to test it and see if it's true
TGDragon 1 year ago
@TGDragon Ok so you would believe an old wives tale but not the bible is what you are saying? I thought you believed in science and wanted facts..not rumors (which is what old wives tales are). And for all we know they got the idea from the bible..after all its been around two thousand plus years.
I don't think astronomers will ever get a total count on the stars since they are constantly dying and new ones being born.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 no that is far from what i am saying. i used the fact that it's an old wives tale and in the bible to show how common the knowledge of that remedy is.
however due to the fact that it has been proven in full yes i will believe it way before i believe the bible
they will be much easier to count them when we're out there among them.
TGDragon 1 year ago
@moonglow38 by the way it is not a scientific fact that the stars are innumerable there are just too many for any person or group of people to count at once. many stars have already been named and numbered and though it will take many many many years the human race just might live to see the day when all the stars in our galaxy at the least are counted.
TGDragon 1 year ago
@TGDragon Its amazing isn't it?

SLORRIFJART321 2 years ago
Only God can condemn.
moonglow38 2 years ago
If your devil in effect rules the world now don't you think it could affect you line of thought. What would it/he do if not affect your line of thought? You think that you can outsmart the devil, with all your wits and beliefs, while he's handling you in scores and bunches.
I do not pray, but I can wish for that you start realizing that the holy spirit is a state of mind and wishing for heaven will lead you nowhere good.
So, no, I did not judge you. You only thought I did.
SLORRIFJART321 2 years ago
Yea you did..you said my soul would be tormented for spreading ideas about Heaven..along with other things. I think its odd that you believe the devil is real but the Holy spirit is just a state of mind. In other words, not real. The devil does not rule this world. If he did by your reasoning then he could be affecting your thoughts also. What I said about Heaven is in the bible..the Word of God. The things I said weren't in the bible, female angels, baby angles, etc, aren't in the bible.

Could you trust him not to?
SLORRIFJART321 1 year ago
@SLORRIFJART321 If he did exist, I would make every effort to stay away from him. My information about heaven comes from an entirely different source.
k0smon 1 year ago
@k0smon you would try to stay away from who?
moonglow38 1 year ago
@SLORRIFJART321 The deceiver uses condemnation, accusing words giving guilt. are you doing those things? Heaven begins in you. Sin is having a body that dies. That is corruptible. All of us are. That is why Christ must be in us to save our soul. To be with God is life. To not be with life is to be with the one who will perish taking those that follow him doing bad to their neighbor. Satan will be the one who kills both the body, and the soul. Those will be turned to dust, and be forgotten.
kobidobidog 1 year ago
@kobidobidog wow...that isn't what the bible says: Matthew 10:28 “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Its not sinful to have our God given bodies either. Where are you getting this stuff from?
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 Fearing God,is not as humans see it. One does not want to make God sad. Doing good to your neighbor makes God,and your neighbor glad. Both are connected don’t you see. Make one happy, and the other one is filled with glee. There is no glee with Satan, and Satan is the one who kills the soul of those that are unfit to be in heaven filled with hate, condemning words giving guilt. Satan will try, and deceive many looking like the glorified Jesus calling for condemnation, hear him not!
kobidobidog 1 year ago
@kobidobidog I guess you will have to argue with God and His Word because only God can destroy the soul in hell. There is nothing in the bible that says satan can bother or touch those in hell...he will be in his own hell. Fearing God is not fear like being afraid of a gunman..it means having great respect. This hasn't a thing to do with condemnation btw...not sure why you are making that connection here.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 What destroys the soul in hell is a person who refuses the everlasting Love of God believing Satan’s lie just like Adam, and eve did in the Garden of Eden. God is life therefore God cannot give death. Satan is the one who gives death, and death will be swallowed up in victory. all that follow Satan follow death and will get death just like Satan will get death. This planet is getting death because humans who bought Satan's lie live on this earth. God is going to make all things new
kobidobidog 1 year ago
@kobidobidog Ok so what do you think this verse means? Jesus says this: Matthew 10: 28 “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38, you are not reading from the KJV,28,And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. then read,29,Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 30But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Father God cares, and gives, preserves life, kills nothing.
kobidobidog 1 year ago
@kobidobidog Yes I have read it in content. And yes I know God cares..but God is also a God of judgment....have you never read the Old Testament? The flood..the destroying of Sodom and Gomorrah...Revelation in the New Testament? Are you honestly saying you think the 'he' in that verse means satan? That satan can not only kill our bodies but our souls too? Jesus was clearly talking about God in that whole passage, He didn't switch from talking about satan to God.
moonglow38 1 year ago
@moonglow38 How Gods judgment works. Humans that have done good with Christ doing his good work in them, and there are the once who think having heavy hand using fear, condemning, accusing words giving guilt sticking out their chest thinking they are doing a good work are going to try, and run from Jesus when they see him when he comes in glory. Redeemed will not run. Jesus will only have to stand there in his glory. The beast, and the false prophet rain fire down, revelaton13.
kobidobidog 1 year ago

Therefore our corruptible bodies are sinful Therefore do not judge least ye be judged, and no longer torment the zoo, gay, whoever.
kobidobidog 1 year ago
@kobidobidog I am having a really hard time understanding you. Why are you talking about the zoo? Yes I know we will be given incorruptible bodies in Heaven but there is nothing in the bible that suggests our earthly bodies are sinnful..they just grow old and suffer sickness and so forth..

@moonglow38 The zoosexuals or whatever name whoever wants to give them that have sex with another species ,and love like God loves are being persecuted just like Jesus was persecuted when he was on this earth. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

@kobidobidog O no mister, having a corruptible body that dies is not a sin, it is life. "To be with god" is not life, it is death at best, or more likely just nothing.

Have faith in heaven, and God to make God happy, and your neighbor as well. .

@kobidobidog Sorry mate, we can make any kind of claim of what a made up god is interested in or what he says, it is still just empty talk.
Your man, the jesus, lost his faith on the cross, so how long will you all go on waiting for and preaching about heaven? When will you ever learn?
For sure you will make god happy by having faith in him. How else could he even exist?
The only good thing is if you can make a descent dead end life.

@SLORRIFJART321 How do you figure Jesus lost faith on the cross? Also, by even using Him as an example are you saying you believe He existed?

Why are You so far from helping Me, And from the words of My groaning?
moonglow38 1 year ago

@moonglow38 Paul never thought there
