Doing this in a semi-pro fashion like CGR with all-digital recording equipment (both video and audio) would take a lot more money apparently. That's why it's done like it's done. Not saying that it's done badly, quite the contrary. Keep up the good work Mark! ;)

Man I'm having serious issues recording my game footage off the atari 2600. Some games work just fine through my capture cards, but some like Space Cavern just ourput garbage, I use a spliter and can see it fine on my TV, but the capture card just makes the image roll and scramble. Might have somthing to do with the video cheats (and flickering) in the game, I didn't want to do this, but I think I'm going to have to record onto VHS and then capture for those games...Problem I don't have a VCR

@RunandGunPictures Most likely due to the splitter weakening the signal. I could be wrong, but I've read of some people trying to play older games via RF on a modern TV and getting "no signal" because the signal was so weak.

@NightSprinter yeah I tried it without splitter same issue with the capture card :( But I've got a VCR so things are going well now.
