  • shouldn't they have memorized the song

  • Im doing this song in Colla Voce too :D

  • I don't think the descant is sharp until the word "comes" at the end.

But every time the women join in the chorus, they get sharper....

  • wonderfullllllllllllll

  • @ahiroroz dfgh

  • they could stand to round their tones more, leaning toward and operatic mouth positioning. the rounded tone would add the drama that the song calls for. it's supposed to "vocalize" a battle. personally, i'm not getting it at all from this group.

  • Check out the National Lutheren choir doing this piece....the best so far!

  • Were there bases singing? oh, i could not hear them. needs more.

  • tsk .... very lame

  • Holy crap that soprano soloist went so sharp on the high Bs. Although this isn't the first time a soprano has overshot high note leaps. Classic example of this kind of solo is in the beginning of Lux Aurumque.

  • @xFuriousMusicx

First of all I have sung that solo and they are not high Bs, they are high Cs therefore i can understand why you would think she is sharp.

  • @HUMBLEbumble1231 My mistake on notes, I haven't sang this in a very long time so I forgot. Either way whether it be a B or a C, she is going sharp on it compared to the rest of the choir.

  • @xFuriousMusicx The tennors are flat!

  • The tenor really failed, going from 1:23. But indeed, the high soprano-solo and the following first soprano-notes were amazing!

  • i love the sapranoe note at the end on point

the very first girl on the side doin it i see ya lolz

  • i love the sapranoe note at the end on point

  • FLAT!

  • thank you! someone had to say it! *twitch...twitch*

  • this is good i appreciate it

  • wow

  • our school is doing this now. This song is awesome and so powerful. This choir does a very job with this piece.

  • Do you all think this is great? Ha!....Check THIS out... The Battle of Jericho with Moses Hogan

  • He was truly a remarkable song writer, and conductor, I wish he was still alive to this day.

  • that was absolutely beautiful!

i'm glad that we are singing this soon at my high school for the state contest.

  • beautiful!!!

  • The blend among the voice parts is really great. The descant is under pitch just a little and sounds kind of strained. A light vibrato would make it float a little lighter and stay on pitch, as well! Great performance!

  • i as a student conductor.... impressed by the director...

  • That was an extremely good performance. The parts all blended very nicely and the pace was just right.

  • Wow. The Director was amazing.

  • tenor part is so BEAST..i sing it in my chior..its soo much fun

  • psh stealing MY SCHOOL COLORS!

    goood performance!

  • That was beastly.

For once, I actually liked the descant.

Most of people that I've heard do that are horrid.

    Good job.

    :D

  • We song this way back at my high school! I love how powerful this song is....and they did "THAT MORNING"! Go head! God Bless! =)

  • Oh I love how slow you took the end... great job!

  • die sin echt gut! respekt

  • My chorus needs to sing this version...

    I like this one better

    -_-

  • Wow, they are flat for almost the entire piece, that's impressive.

  • Honey...the end soprano is a SOLO....so yes it should be heard over the tenors

  • i love this song a lot- it Яules!

  • this is sweet!!! i didn't know one person's voice could outpower a whole choir!

  • The soprano part at the end is a solo, we're singing this song in choir. They have the right to sing louder then the tenors.
