I'm not a musician, but can someone kindly explain what it means when the Drummer is "deep in the pocket". Is the Drummer doing something special or different? Can you tell me what minute start point is the Drummer in the pocket?

'The pocket' usually refers to grooves that hold down the song well. I would say the drummer is most in the pocket at 2:43. But really, it's a pretty abstract term. It just means he's holding it down and he's not doing anything unnecessarily elaborate.

It's another way to say 'FUCKIN GROOVY'.
