  • just to let u no, which u found out the hard r expensive way, its boats that u use to cross a river1 not a auto vehicle!

  • recommend toyota??? may stand a chance maybe not

  • hahahahah woow

  • wow

  • I got teary eyed over this, haha....

I love my Jeep, I wouldnt have been able to leave it, I would bought scuba gear and a god damn crane to get it out or something lmao

  • My Dad's a TV repairman. He's got an awesome set of tools. I can fix it.

  • music ruins perfectly good video. What does music have to do with a jeep making a crossing attempt???????????????????????

  • flood:1

    jeep: 0

    You have balls!!!

    nice video

  • yea jims creek is definetly the meca in the anchorage municipality. when i go wheelin i like to go out to alpine creek lodge on the denali highway some good trails out there.

  • @jeepman95100 You like the Denali Hywy you should park at the trial head approx 5 miles west of McLaren River Lodge south side. Exit Denali Hywy to left where a trail take you on to the other side of small un-named chain lakes, there is a parking area there. Take the trail back over Moore's Mtn. and you can go all the way back to the McLclaren River. You won't get a truck in there. Take xtra gas and a couple of 4 wheelers and don't go in w/o a winch and anchor. Beautiful Country! Cheers.

  • @jeepman95100

That is Metal Creek, quite a bit in further than Jim Creek.

  • It would have been sweet if you dug it up and drove it out. hahaha

  • Yeah who ever was recording, this video, he say, Oh shit, and you are right, it does float like shit, i bet he just got on deep spot where tires can't reach bottom, it's kind of cool video, and experience. I bet he won't drive there anymore at spring time. Best time is fall for driving on river bed. He came back to dig that piece of garbage? Now that even more nuts and bolts.

  • R.I.P

  • it'll start..

  • look on the bright side...most of the parts...suspension, the tires, axles, and a few other things are still useable if you didnt clean the jeep up...what i would have done myself is built it up as a strickly 4 wheelin terror...monster tires and a monster engine to go with it...(example: 54 inch boggers, 2 1/2 ton military axles, and a cummins 5.9 pushin 1600 hp with about 2500 to 3000 ft lbs of torque)

  • @SebastianLong your dream buggy would have sufferd the same fate as the TJ in the video that water is cold, fast moving, and deep. its also glacier fed with a very high silt content .

  • @yellowk20 i ment with the parts from his old ride you nipplerod...and becides...a person can build a vehicle that will have so much hp it wont since...look up a Jeep that walks on water or Jeep vs snowmabile on water

  • @SebastianLong Your a fucking idiot .the only thing that was salvaged from that jeep was the rear portion off the tub EVERY other part was trashed .

And your whole idea of walking on water like the Jeep VS snowmachine....... that jeep has light weight components not a 1100lbs cummins and it was crossing smooth water in a lake not fast moving glacier runoff. not only that , the jeep from that video would never even have made it to where this video was made because its over 20 miles

  • Wow, that was fucked up! Cool vid.

  • damn dude that would suck!! so bad sorry bout the jeep man i like your dogs at the end

  • Holy god man! That's freakin crazy! Loved how ya brought it full circle with the footage after the fact....

Just FYI, if you were wanting to enter the 5k subs contest, you'll need to submit a video that fulfills the 3 criteria in the contest video. Lemme know if you have any questions...

  • hey mommy! look what i dug up!

  • That'll buff out!

  • what happened to the jeep ?!?!?! did u save it

  • change the oil an it should start right up. that was one of the saddest things ever

  • WOW!!! So, did this jeep live to see another day????

  • Dam that water is so dam cold..... It is so much fun to watch the millitary newbes f up out at jim creek, it happens far too offten, that ground changes very fast out their due to the creek currents.. so watch out,

  • just slap a new tub on that bitch with a new cage...youll be fine LOL

  • did you fix the jeep or give up on it?

  • Thats crazy I live in ak and I see trucks like that alot and most of them are military as well as I am but there is a big change from wheeling in georgia than alaska nice vid though I thought I seen that rig for sale at affordable used cars lol jk.

  • im a hardcore wheeler but thats just nuts deftly afraid of deep water cant swim good vid

  • May I ask what you ended up doing with it?

  • Nice recovery job, most people would have just left it to rot away. Probably claim it on insurance as stolen. Sucks to have lost it but hey, now you have a reason to build another one :) Happy Wheeling

  • fuck due that's some shitty gitch !!! What did you do with the jeep ?

  • Were you able to rebuild the Jeep? Or did you just have to part it out?

  • this is fuckin' hilarious. leave it to alaska to actually go back and dig the damn thing up. god, i miss home.

  • need a boat anchor... hahah

  • How much of a retard do you have to be to even attempt to cross a river that is flowing that fast when that deep? Gives Jeep drivers a bad name...

  • WTF!!

  • that'll buff out....

  • Poor thing

  • Looks like you could use a rig like my extreme off road wrecker up there.

  • Good job recovering the Jeep instead of just leaving it there. The 4 Wheeling community appreciates this kind of responsible wheeling.

  • :'( poor jeep. It died happy at least.

  • Nice Adventure, Love jeeps, but they are light enough to get knocked around, and I'm a military guy coming up there in about three months, can't wait, is this close to fairbanks or anchorage?

  • I hate wheelin Jims creek. Its the Bermuda triangle of 4 wheeling...something always goes wrong yet people flock there like its the only place to go wheelin.

Should be re named "New military guys living in AK don't know any better and off road here creek"

I know I was one of them!

  • @149281 Yes it's always a zoo out at Jim Creek, knda link a circus. I always liked getting past the beaver ponds about 9 miles in towards the glacier. That is where you separate the boys from the men.

  • @149281 So where do you go wheelin? Sutton and Eureka are okay but a bitch if you rockin a jeep.

  • I'll stick to rock crawling that took some guts just to try and cross that.

  • By the Jesus that’s got to be Cccold!!!!!

What's with all the haters out there these guys know how to have fun, it must be pissing off the haters because they have to go out to get a new buss pass.

  • @Mostlyfun The haters maybe are too high strung, maybe mad because life has passed them by??? This video is a good life learning lessen about choosing. Life is like traveling, It's not the destination, it's all about the trip.

  • hahahhhahaahhahahahah stick to roads buddy

  • I'll bet you fellas had a few moments there when you were in the deep water that you were a little worried. Glad you made it out OK.

It's good to see that you went back and got it and rebuilt it.

  • WOW INSANE!!

  • OK, I know exactly what he did wrong.... when the water started rising he shoulda made sure he was in a fuckin BOAT, not a jeep ;) cool vid

  • i bet you had fun rebuilding it.

  • thats hard to watch.

  • why would you even try that??? i mean thats not even called fun..that dumb and a easy way to loss at least 2500 to 3k in car

  • damn. that blows big time chunks.

  • Buck and Tye told me they want inflatable water wings for the next 4x4 trip.

  • at least it wasnt a land rover

  • poor jeep....

  • @GoliathBlock

Get over it, heaven forbid some gas and oil ( both witch came from the earth idiot ) went back into the earth! You green types are so blind!

  • Wow. Found this again. I can't believe how stupid this is. You hear about people like this dying all the time. Funny hearing about losing the jeep as a concern but without it they would have easily been caught in the current and drowned.

  • oh that will buff out in no time ....

  • bye bye see you soon!

  • well shit if ur gonna do that then atleast put a rudder at the back rofl seriasly

  • Wow. That looks insanely dangerous. Of course those Alaskans are a bit nuts.

  • Whaooooouuuuuu Poor JEEP...

  • ouch, that was a ballsy move for sure. i have a landcruiser that i love but i dig any 4x4 that people are willing to get out in the bush with. screw all this competetive my truck is better than yours shit. just go out and enjoy your 4x4 whatever you have and use it!!!!

great vid guys, tough loss tho.

  • yeah buddy, jeep guy to cruiser guy, fuck it lets go wheelin

  • and thats why i prefer to keep my jeep on solid ground....ill rock crawl and offroad all day long but im not risking a $20000 investment to end up like that

  • was the jeep in the same place when you came back for it and why wait so long

  • @TheSasusaku11 Yes, it was in the same place. Had to wait until the water height receded in the fall. In summer the water gets too high from Glacier melt in the mountains.

  • got to love the landcruiser loser in the chat... you see the thing about jeep owners is they tend to love their vehicles which is why he went back for it! i would have done the same. but then again i would not have tried to cross that lol...

  • why would anyone bother with this piece of shit 6 months later is beyond me. i could understand it if it was to remove this ugly piece of crap from the landscape, but for a rebuild? yawn... grow up and get a landcruiser

  • of course. That way you wouldn't even be able to make it to the river! Great plan!

  • Hell yeah Land Cruiser's are made to go around the world and through anything while jeep's are made to play in little American ponds and mud holes.

    ONLY IN A TOYOTA!!!! [O=O]

  • Landloser? ha, yeah right.

  • Jeeps are shit

  • i like jeeps man lol i got 2 grnd cherokees a 95 grn orvis and 02 limited

  • DID THE JEEP EVER RUN AGAIN

  • It got towed out as you can see at the end of the clip, and rebuilt.

  • that's really sad : (

  • how stupid can you be?!

  • what a rough day...

  • That is wild!

  • ha, saw this on tv the other day. nice

  • Rest in peace ...

  • That's a choice he'll never forget.

  • LMAO. Wow! i'll remember to never try that in my jeep. Hope he was able to salvage it

  • That was insane!

  • HOLY crap!!!

  • Oh..im speechless!Cant wait Thierrys opinion on that..
