They build a lot of models of cars and they don't have problems with 'cost targets' on any of there gas models. If they wanted to get this to market it would be on the market. After all this is Nissan and this is not rocket science. It's not like this is a flying car. If it were then I might understand.
The BMW has been out a while. We just have to wait for the oil companies (with government approval) to build the hydrogen refueling infrastructure. How long do you think we'll be waiting for that? I produce my own hydrogen. Why can't I buy a BMW? It also runs on gas...they should be in dealerships everywhere, or at least available to buy somewhere in the US.
They've been talking about hydrogen cars for 15 years. Youtube hydrogen generation and see how easy it is to convert your car. But these big corporations always have some excuse why they can't get to market. It just makes one curious what the real reason is.
