Could you possibly post the flip side of this, "In The Still Of The Nite?" So many acappella groups have attempted that song and come out sounding weak, but IMO the Nutmegs really nailed it. To me they truly were the Rajahs of acappella. Thanx Eva
sorry to say ,but that is just terrible. i think the applause was more a curtousy and really not well deserved.in their heyday they were not only a solid group, but also had fantastic blend to their harmony much more evident in their early acappella efforts!
When was this recorded? James Washburn and Harold Jaysen were not original group members. Nutmegs: James Griffin, Leroy Griffin lead tenor, James Tyson, Leroy Mac Neil and Billy Emery made up the group. They were one of the best groups and boy could they sing Acappella.
