Why don't we hear this and other australian Christmas Carols more than the other northern hemisphere carols? Ours are so much more appropriate and meaningful. I also learnt this at school in the 1960's

Haven't heard this since 1966. I was five years old and we sang it in school. Lovely song - "and the chimes are adrift in the sky.." Beautiful words. Many thanks.

@Sandygmrfs I remember it from school too (in the late 80's) - have had this recording for years and couldn't find any other versions of it.
