  • Congrats indiana on RTW the world is slightly a better place. and haha you faggots lost, no more leaching off the workers for sustenance you parasites.

  • All you union folks... You whine and whinge about how badly labor will be treated without unions. So answer me this... less than 12% of the national workforce is unionized. If what you say is true, how come we are not hearing from that other 88%.

I am retired now but spent my entire working life without ever being a member of a union. Always made a good wage, good benefits, etc.

  • Fight to the death Indiana! This Pennsylvanian supports you!

  • I hate all republicans in office and I will battle them til death!

  • My answer is to vote house reublicans out of office!

  • Pennsylvania is about to go there but I am trying to stop it! Screw Governor Corbett and I will fight the republicans until I am dead!

  • Pass that the right to work for less law here in Oklahoma 10 years ago. Big mistake. Sure we seem to have a lot of jobs here but the workers are abused. You got no say in nothing.

  • LOL, stop the "right to work" Just rolls off the tongue doesn't it!

  • The only people who are going to suffer are the union management employees. The people who actually work for the union (not the represented workers) are probably going to lose their jobs, and unions will actually have to put budgets together in order to run stream-lined like a business. This law will force unions to be competitive and will require them to be more cost concious. The benefits (free hair cuts, cars, etc) that the union ownership have, is gone... that's why they're mad.

  • @Todd82TA How the hell can you sit there and say that those who work under union protection willo not be affected? Do you know what this law does? It allows those who choose not to contribute to the union to reep all of the rewards and protections a union provides. Basically it lets anti union dolts STEAL from the union. ULTIMATE HYPOCRICY. This will divide any workforce and create an environment where union cannot survive.

  • @lamiac2411 The only thing your Union does it steal out of your pocket to pay huge salaries and bonuses to the bosses. Think long an hard about what your union thinks of you the next time you see Richard Trumka riding around in his limosuine

  • I really don't see anything in the bill that is tarnishing. read it myself.

  • It all boils down to integrity and doing the right thing, and the unions are no better than management when it comes to manipulating the workplace. Some people prefer to let their work speak for itself. I want the right to work anywhere without the union forcing me to pay them. If I decide to join based on the merits of belonging to a union, fine, but it should be my decision.

  • @416honda Unions, like every progressive wing opposes the right of the individual to have free choice.

  • @416honda Honda, I agree, but unions really can't survive with RTW. That's why I'd propose RTW legislation voted on DIRECTLY by the people in a referendum every 10 years. If the people want RTW, they can vote for it, or against it. And 10 years later, they can adjust their vote based on the economic climate of the time.

  • @ycdtotv Why not have the labor agreement state that the rights stated therein are only extended to union members. If the non-union employees are treated worse than union employees, they can join and receive any improved quality of life that membership affords. If the employer treats people well, then unionization might not be as popular.

  • @416honda You are then proposing two different sets of rules/regulations for different employees doing the same work. Of course management would treat non-union employees better--it only makes good business sense to discourage unionization. And once the union was out, management would be free to treat people however they wanted. That's why I support massive democracy at the state level in regards to this issue--because we, the regular folks, should decide on this issue.

  • They are right to work for less laws.

  • If management and workers agree to a closed shop, that should be up to them, not the politicians. If someone insists on working at a non-union business or wants lower wages, he can look elsewhere.

  • Happened in Virginia and the quality of life not to mention the medical problems from excess stress from workers has increased dramatically. Not only do workers fear they will be laid off or fired at any time for anything, but since corporations have suddenly changed their benefits line people can't even get insurance much less afford it part time since they also increased the price of insurance x 4.

  • Happened in Idaho 25 years ago and the quality of life has suffered ever since . Keep up the good fight .

  • @mesaeddie I am using your quote in our union meeting if you do not mind.

  • I thought Indiana was this big economic miracle according to the Republican Party? Same ole. Same ole.
