  • Thank you so much for posting these videos. They give an excellent resource for my own excerpt practicing.

  • Bravo Man! you are great, I love too the sound of your Bass, what kind of instrument you have? Reards !

  • Also, sorry to bother you with another question, but I'm about to buy a new set of strings currently have Obligatos and they roll to much for my liking. What have you tried out / liked in your experience?

  • Hey man you are great..(like everyone always comments)... I was just wondering it seems that in some excerpts you use your third finger extensively. Is this what you have been taught or decided to do your self. I know the Levinson scale book uses 3rd finger a lot but I was just curious for your thoughts.

btw your vibrato and articulation sounds very good in a lot of your videos

  • hey man i just wanted to tell u that im a bass player and i use ur videos for references when I'm working on exerpts and i think u kick ass, keep up the good work

  • Great playing! The only question is why do you use a 2 on the high E at the beginning of the excerpt? Whenever I play this, I just play it O 1 4 in position. Is there any benefit for using O 1 2?

  • @Raff365 0-1-4 is the obvious choice and probably 99.9% of players do 0-1-4. I do 0-1-2 cause I like my 2nd finger vibrato better. I wouldn't necessarily recommend 0-1-2 though, only if your 2nd finger vibrato is significantly better (by better I mean more intense as this is a fairly intense passage) than your 4th and you can get it in tune.

  • sounds pretty good to me. Your bass has a lot of bite to it's sound.
