African American from Seattle WA cleanly out playing Eric Clapton on his Strat and ripping Clapton a new one is truly remarkable.Although FREE's Paul Kossoff may have been the combination of both
Even with the poor recording, this is not a Stratocaster. I believe this is a semi-hollow body guitar. Or maybe it is a Danelectro. What you guys think?
@HippieBr It's most likely a stratocaster. Jimi recorded these demos (along with 1983... an a few others) in his new york apartment during March 1968 when he was getting ready to start recording Electric Ladyland that April. I don't think Jimi owned a semi hollow, and at this point in his career (1968) I've only seen him use Strats and his Acoustic. But hey, it's entirely possible i guess, i mean, it's not like i was sitting in the hotel room with him...
i dont think this is a home recording cause he has a stereo image here (guitar on right channel, vocals on left) nd i dont think they had that home technology
The last time I herd this recording was December 16, 1996. I was 16 and it was the first time I made love. It was summer and there was a storm, her name was Nicole and I fell in love with her that night. Hearing this 15 years later, the emotion is almost too much to bear. Too powerful...

@JUNIORxHENDRIX This a Demo that he recorded at home. It was released on 'Jimi Hendrix Live & Unreleased - The Radio Show', which is still available thru second hand sellers in the US. This is probably my favourite song on the 'album', and is certainly Jimi at his most poignant. Lovely stuff.
this is too beautiful... I ain't a big fan of Jimi, but I think that there's no other guitarist in the world that could love the mix of his guitar, his voice and the whole music like this artist did. I mean there are guitarist like Jimmy page that felt their guitars in a special way, rn'r way let's say, but jimi simply loved his guitar and loved the whole music. he did things like 'all allong the watchtower' , and he did ANGEL too.So we can see here a huge guitarist with a spcial love for music
To bubbagordon123, alot of times when you sing a song you just get into the melody and go with it. Have you ever listened to Robert Plant live, half of the lyrics don't even make sense or are right.
hey this is JIMI I know him-my son Smalls passed on Nov 1 in a Train accident in Manassas ,Va and hes my Angel now and he's up there and Jimi's telling him how it was back in his Dad;s day and its okay cause we'll all be together one day!
look man .. i'll bet the sun, moon and stars that it is .. lyrics can be one way when rehearsing .. and another when put on a album .. that's what especially made Jimi so deep and complex .. the range of lyrics , emotions - & rare recordings like this. . . .
@bubbagordon123 You have absolutely got to be kidding me. What, is it all of a sudden impossible for someone to write lyrics for a song then change them? Learn some fucking common sense, sir.
