Are you kidding? Slipknot are awesome. Listen to their second album, Iowa, and you'll hear some kick-ass rock! Yes, they have gone a bit more mainstream, but they are still, along with Kiss, one of the best bands in the world. And Slipknot have cited Kiss as their biggest influence, which is cool.

Slipknot are staying true to who they are! Every band evolves. Just look at Kiss, for example. From Hard rock in the 70's, to Heavy metal in the 80's and half 90's, then hard rock in the late 90's (reunion), and now they're a mix of Heavy metal and Hard rock. And that's great. It's in every bands nature to evolve. Who knows, maybe Slipknot's next album will be as heavy as Iowa, or even heavier. Who knows. They still kick major ass, though. Both Slipknot and Kiss are. They are awesome.

Yes, but KISS has been through many lineups and in 1979 Peter Criss "Original Drummer" left the band, and Eric Carr join, he in 1991 died and join the current drummer "Eric Singer", and one guitarrist call "Mark St. John" he play with KISS 1 year i think, and he record the video of Heaven's on Fire, and he died the last year ...i think ...

This was recorded on Sept. 24th at Cobo Hall in Detroit, the night before they opened the Alive 35 Tour. Tried like hell to win tickets to this filming but no dice. I did see the opening night show, I took my 5 year old son for a surprise Birthday present, he'll remember that forever I'm sure, his first concert was KISS at Cobo Hall. I'm glad I saw them on the first day of this tour, Paul's voice has been sounding bad and will probably get worse before it gets better. Absolutely AWESOME LIVE!
