@xtrem3rd its not insane if you don't personally think of it as a norm. If someone kills a person and enjoys it, but later feels like it was "a bad thing to do" the person isn't insane. But if one feels its normal, or that everyone must enjoy it, I would say that its insane.

You think this scene is freaky in the anime? Read the manga or visual novels. The manga is more detailed and the visual novel? Let's just say that that genuinly freaked me out despite being quite familiar with both the anime and manga.

i read the manga version of this ending and i must say that although this is creepy, the one in the manga version was downright frightening!!! X_x;; If you want to see it then go to MangaReader look up 'Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni - Watanagashi', start at page 36 and hold onto to something soft and cuddly ^^;;
