I've heard you so many times criticize the ipod touch because people who have iphones are screwed over since they are locked into a contract and pay for coverage, etc. But, ipod touches are great for those who WANT iphones but cannot subject themselves to AT&T. You seriously don't understand Adrian! Lol. So, I have an ipod touch with a cheap phone. That gives me an "iphone" (where there's wifi (in many places here) and good cell coverage under Verizon. Thanks Apple! Lol.

- Camera's in the Classic is bullshit.

- They Won't make the iPod nano screen longer without making it wider. They will keep the 16:9 ratio.

- Cameras and video on the Ipod Touch = Yes.

- Hardware bump in iTouch definitely.

- 64gb iTouch POSSIBLY. Flash is still expensive. As for 100gb next year, I doubt it.

- They should f*ck the shuffle.

Great vid! I had a iPod classic and lost it during a recent move! Doh! I like the classic simply because of the storage and larger screen size. If apple does decide to drop that product, then I'm going to have to get one before then! 5/5 stars!

I think its about time that Apple did something for video and pictures. Putting a video camera and still camera into the Ipod Classic would be a great idea because then it would better serve as a multimedia device to work with ILife 09. I just hope its going to a high quality camera.

I love the ipod classic mainly because it can hold all my music and movies and i can use it as an external HD so i don't have to carry one around or carry a flash drive i wish i still had mine.

i feel they are going to discontinue the ipod classic because if you ever notice, apple does not really promote the ipod classic anymore! and i don't think they can put a camera in a classic because if u ever open one up, you will see it has no extra space, that's why they did not put a accelometron.

apple killed the 160GB because it was too thick...its been a year so who knows maybe there are 160GB drives that have the same thickness as the 120GB. if thats the case, there is no reason NOT to go with 160GB. But its all up to the THICKNESS ! that was the main reason why the 160gB didn't sell !

yeh i agree, it seems the shuffle is the 'runt' of the ipod family... lol I got an iphone 3g, waiting till its cheaper to buy out my contract, now the ipod touch almost seems like an alternative tho... 1) I think Apple should admit they made a mistake on the shuffle design and change back to the previous one with physical buttons.

2) I would love to see Steve Jobs do the presentation. I've also missed his key notes.

3) I think the camera in the iPod Touch would be a great idea but its not fair on the iPhone users to put a mic in.

The extra album content would be good, as is there not a unspecified song length (around 7-8 mins) that makes it Album only, always found that very annoying.

Also what about the Beatles entire catalog making it on to itunes after all the problems are now fixed.

was the ringtones thing not announced way back in the day like the original iphone, as there is still a ringtones section in the itunes in the library section.

I dont want there to be a camera one the nano and classic. You made the point about the iPod touch having a load of apps to go with a camera, but on the nano and classic it dosent make sense. yeah there is the big capacity, but an ipod camera wont ever replace anyones 5,6,7+ Megapixel camera that has a 2gb sd card.

I personally do not like the shuffle in general its too much like a generic mp3 player to be considered iPod (though the previous gen was the nicest and the design was used for the radio remote which i have).

If the iPod Touch becomes too much like the iPhone whats to stop buying a MiFi and getting wireless everywhere on a network of your choice.

Cocktail sounds good but id like previously bought albums to be upgraded like with iTunes Plus.

Id like more battery management in iPhone 3.1

'Discontinue the shuffle...to reduce costs'? - I don't understand that, do you think Apple are making/selling shuffles at a loss? Personally, I think the new shuffle is revolutionary.

Also, Apple only ever rebut/release products at events. Once its been shown, you can buy it from that point. They wont mention this 'Tablet' unless its going on sale then. That's not apples way.

As for Jobs. Again, if he isnt fully presenting it, he wont show.

I've been thinking the same thing with the shuffle they can't use their old design after introducing the new one. Also discontinuing it would help Apple sell more nano's. Look at the shuffle copy cats out there Coby is one of them, making the nano cheaper with more features with a camera that can take pictures/video can be a good thing. I can be useful for flickr/facebook when you don't have a camera in hand or don't have an iPhone or cellphone with a lot of space to clutter it with pictures.

I think iPhone tracks, should also work as ringtones, making consumers buy the song twice is wrong. I would be little worried if apple do sell the ringtones, they could try and stop people making there own with a firm update.

In regards to the Apple "cocktail" I think that this is the only way to sell music in todays market. With Spotify I can listen to the tracks and with illegal downloading I can have them on my iPod. Yet sometimes I want to either 1) support the musician or 2) get extra added content and this really appeals to me being able to get exclusive artwork or videos. Interesting rumour!
