It's the House and the Senate that are on the spot right now and it is they who need to come together. Cool heads need to prevail. Perhaps breaking the budget down into more managable pieces will help. Why does there need to be a single bill before Congress? Add-ons could end up being the deal breaker. It's the House and the Senate that are on the spot right now and it is they who need to come together. Cool heads need to prevail. Perhaps breaking the budget down into more managable pieces will help. Why does there need to be a single bill before Congress? Add-ons could end up being the deal breaker. The Constitution points out that there are obligations that need to be met and these are the priorities. I would also give priority to funding which has economic multipliers associated with it.
