  • Ehhhnnt! Wrong answer, but thanks for playing. Calories are in reality Kilo-calories, note the small and big c's. A calorie is the standard scientific definition of the energy it takes to raise one cc of water one degree Celsius, or 4.134 Joules. A Calorie is one-thousand of those same units, or 4,134 Joules. That's why people get confused about the difference between regular science calories, and food Calories which are orders of magnitude larger. We have some lovely parting gifts for you.
