this is funny. I believe what happened is that the judge had to establish personal jurisdiction over Ian. If he tells Ian to have a seat and he sits down, then the judge and court has jurisdiction. Simply because Ian has agreed to follow the judge orders. However, Ian was smart enough to catch this and said hes doing it under duress. there by objecting to jurisdiction. The next thing the judge did was change court room. This is done so that the judge can re-establish his honor in the court.

There is so little information here that one cannot discern what actually caused this man to be held in contempt. In fact there's so little here to do so what we do see does not even make sense. This is a classic in that activists use this technique to enourage outrage at an event based upon a specifically selected clip. this is funny. I believe what happened is that the judge had to establish personal jurisdiction over Ian. If he tells Ian to have a seat and he sits down, then the judge and court has jurisdiction. Simply because Ian has agreed to follow the judge orders. However, Ian was smart enough to catch this and said hes doing it under duress. there by objecting to jurisdiction. The next thing the judge did was change court room. This is done so that the judge can re-establish his honor in the court.

@mitchwas yup by sitting he gave the court jurisdiction over him and he should never never say his name because that is hearsay, he was not a witness to his being given a name therefore the name the judge called only exist as a legal fiction, a fictional cooperation listed in ALL CAPS governed by Maritime/Admiralty law not common law as it SHOULD BE!! It's time to take back our god given rights!

Did you see last week 7 deputies in court with the fire chief and his son, an argument ensued and the shot the fire chief in the back wounding a deputy in the finger as well. How crazy is that? 7 to 1 in the bowels of the beast and they had to shoot the guy to stop and argument?

this is like any other district court in the usa, the legal system has been hijacked by the corporatocracy. the state should never be allowed to bring charges against it's citizens for malum prohibitum (crime against the state), but unfortunately the idea of constitutional rights and due process of common law are a thing of the past and tyrants like burke rule the day... (something tells me they better get their kicks in while they can, public anger is nearing the boiling point)...

@FARBR0RBARBR0 Right. This "judge" IS INDEED on a power trip. The freedom folks up there badly need a real lawyer who knows how to get this corrupt piece of trash in trouble with the higher ups or feds or whoever is supposed to deal with judges who get so badly out of line up there. Hope a lawyer may be found who can help this good man to deal with this guy. At least the officers were courteous and made sure the cuffs were not too tight. This needs to be exposed in federal court. Much More!!!!!

That isn't a rights issue, it's an idiot who thinks he is more important than the entire law system of his nation, in that instance, Ian tried to establish dominance in the court over the one, and only one person in the whole room that he is not allowed to by law.
