As far as I could tell, all the girls believed she was a real Duchess. And they also believed I was her real 'Chief of Staff'! We did a very good job of convincing them :-)

The actress who played the Duchess - Patricia Place (RIP) - was an AMAZING actress!! And a VERY nice lady. We were there for many hours - and had to stay 'in character' for all that time when with the girls - but of course, all the hours of footage had to be edited down to a 20 minute segment for the show. 

It was FUN! :-)
