Here's my translation:

We don't really say such weird expression in English. That's probably why it wasn't in the English version. It's not to consequential to the plot either.

You crazy people... The reason she didn't jump is because to her, there's nowhere to jump to! Just as Sora only sees her standing on a patch of sand, Kairi can only see Sora just seemingly popping up in the middle of nowhere (though from the KH2 intro, it implies that Sora was in a "portal?" of some sort barely above the ocean.)
