@charliesweb1k: Yes, both are boys. Unfortunately, one of them passed away two years ago so the remaining Grey is now on his own. He does have a little conure for his friend, though, and has become much friendlier with us.
They both remained very friendly with us while they were together, even when they exhibited nesting behavior like this. However, Cameron (the Grey who passed away) was very aggressive to the other birds in the house to the point it was dangerous.
are they both boy's ? also are they still sometimes nice to you or have you have a little troube with them since they look to be nesting to breed even though they look like boy's? I have one and would love another but im not sure if i really want another grey since my grey is so nice to me. I breed birds and have had many breeder birds help with the feedings and are still tame but i have never breed Congos at all. thanks in advance.
My Gray, Gabby, nests in my sock drawer and throws out the little sock bundles that are in her way. She likes the drawer open 6", not 8", has to be 6". She gets super cuddly during "sock nesting season" and even tries to feed me like I'm her baby bird! Now if only she could have a nesting party with your boys :)
my african grey LOVES the bathroom too! we used to have a bath tub that rose off the floor and that was his favorite place!
