The problem is not in the quickshift.The problem is in the gearbox,it's just like that,shifts slowly from 1 to 2,you just have to give it a split of second time to actually "select" a gear,do not force it or you'll shatter the quickshift,or even the gearbox.And if you want to make it easier to shift,do not let i hit the rev limiter in 1.gear.Afterwards you can shift it as fast as you like.

I have the S16 model with 145 bhp (not stock), and it hase the same "problem" but it goes like a rocket.

Why you Waiting so long, to get into 2nd? You know, that u should just get it rolling get to 20km/t, and Then shift to 2nd? Im fucking sure, that you are burning your clutch =)

@MrWonnabee It was only a problem with the gear linkage, for the sports clutch its no problem to handle the rev's!

@MrWonnabee the power is higher up the rev range! short shift these cars your totally out of the power band, they don't go properly till around 3.5k-4k rpm

@ntinosmtr here in germany you can find this engines in good / like new and new condition for 1000-1500 euro but without tuning of course.
