  • What other software do you need to add subtitles to a movie. I have Media Player.

  • You can't export a file from jubler that you can import directly on youtube?

  • how can i get mplayer for jubler. please give me a link.

  • Thankx 4 posting this.

  • hi i was trying to download the jubler but mt computer did not installed.what can i do for the. can u write me any one

  • My jubler keeps saying it can't find the Mplayer executable. I've downloaded 5 different downloads of Mplayer, and still nothing.

  • none of these programs work for me.

  • I don't get it. I have titled a video and it is correct when you click on it, but as you scroll through videos it's like 'something7.AVI' ? how do i change this so that the title is the same as when you click on the video...

  • It is better if you put your subtitles as a separate file, because than people who don't understand your language translate them. And there are a lot of other bonuses.

  • Are you gonna open yer mouth?

  • Thanks, I'm new at linux and this video helped me a lot with Avidemux, that I had never used.

  • Who could understand this? The guy's whispering and the screen is illegible.

  • good program, thank you. Respect to author.

Just out of curiosity, this wouldnt work on .RMVB files does it??

  • what's the name of the first program?? Juggler?

  • Jubbler

  • Jubler, actually ;)

  • thx!!!i had been digging my iMovie 08 for hours then knew it dosent have the function!

    thx so much~

  • Despite searching all over the place, I still cannot figure out how to join a series of short clips into one movie. You make mention of a previous demonstration of how to use Avidemux. I couldn't find it. Could someone point me in the right direction?

  • Avidemux works on AVI files. You can append several of them together in Avidemux by selecting menu item

    File > Append

  • awesome tutorial, just 1 question is there a way to save ur videos from Avidemux instead of saving a file, say for us windows users that have windows movie maker,

  • Well, you can save the Avidemux file as an AVI file, and then use SUPER (which is free) to convert to WMV, suitable for movie maker. Maybe Movie Maker even supports the importation of AVI files - I'm not sure.

  • LOL i just found SUPER last night, by asking on yahoo answers, but thanx for your time, and awesome tutorial.

  • subtitle workshop software is also easy to use. :)

  • It is not open source, though ;)

  • it says theres been a fatal error and that it could take hours to debug????

  • umm........i opened the avi file on avidemux but when i open the subtitle file it all shuts down??? like completely off i have to restart the program all over again

  • Hey man I have a weird problem. When I'm Going To Save The Subtitled File, After it finishes, it doesnt appear the subtitles, why is this?

  • Very useful video, thanks

  • wow, great dude...

so you recommend to use Avidemux to give format to your subtitles, instead of Jubler?.. I'm trying Jubler, but if I use a new font or color it still will appear as plain white arial like font. dunno how to change that thou...

  • I use Jubler to create the subtitle (SSA) file, then Avidemux to "burn" the subtitle file onto the video. You only really have to burn the subtitles if you're uploading to a place like YouTube. If you use a player like VLC, then it can add the subtitles on the fly.

There are font settings in Jubler. If you still can't get it to work, then open up the subtitle file you create (it's just plain text), and near the top you see lines relating to font and size. Change those to be more to your liking.

  • love jubler!!!
