  • "....ask yourself why, before raising dead issues" BRILLIANT!!!!!!

  • Why must every Fixx song FADE OUT - I wish it would go on 4ever...

  • They have a knack to create a misleading begging and turn what may be thought of as "the" particular direction, ending it with a "catch" either harmonic or word and then makin it NEW again.....a pleasure to have this artistic treasure.

  • Im eating a bowl of Coco Pebbles.

  • @attentionwhoreusa And I, Special K.

  • RUSH + FIXX + SAGA

    That's the music!

  • @saga67

I would add Talk Talk and Big Country to that mix as well. Then you'll have a smorgasbord of the finest music known to mankind.

  • @n8tureboy ... and Crowded House, might I add.

  • you suck

  • The Fixx and Rush...pretty much the soundtrack to my teens. And beyond. Neil Peart had spoken of being a fan of Rupert Hine's production. Reach the Beach and Phantoms are absolute masterworks...sound like nothing else in all of rock or pop. Hipsters reference Captain Beefheart and his ilk like they're the only original musical artists in history, but I'm telling you, hear the early Fixx--there is nothing else like it on earth.

  • @numinaII

You're so right Numinall. This comment is spot-on and you are absolutely right about the originality of early Fixx. There's nothing else like anywhere. They were on the top of their game then and incomparable. I'll never get tired of listening to this masterpiece of music, will you?

  • No. he did not kick my ass. Was more surprised that I liked this music. I look up to my bro, and am blessed he is my family

  • I also thought Rupert's haircut was pretty beast. The point on the front. Could have been designed by Mike Score himself. A great synth player up there with Nick Rhodes, Matthew Hughes, Andrew Fletcher etc...

The song he shines most in is Camphor though. Such great work. and Deeper And Deeper.

  • This album was a part of my entire teenage years. I still have it on cassette.

  • ...Jamie's guitar is always great too...

  • Love this song!

  • I love this, love it, love this : )

  • although I particularly do not like the Beatles at all, I agree that they are the greatest band in the english world. But I still take the fixx hands down any time. The Fixx and Soccer are the best thing in the world

  • I AGREE OTHER WORLDLY SYNTHES!

  • Oh man, need to pull out this CD and pop in my car. Great album!!!!!

  • i stole this album from my older brother all the time...also with his RUSH albums....can't imagine life without the Fixx

  • @jtminutisme1

    Good taste!

  • @beowulven Thankyou, my friend. I think so, too

  • @jtminutisme1 or Rush

  • @jtminutisme1

Did bro kick your @ss? LOL!

  • @n8tureboy negative on that!!!!!!!!!

  • @jtminutisme1

Glad to hear that he didn't, sibling rivalry's over music is not a good thing.

  • @n8tureboy Yes, that is true, who are you hanging' with now in the music zone? Is life treatin' you well? Thanks for your comments

  • @jtminutisme1

I'm stuck hopelessly in the 80's. Can't seem to get out of it really. Life has been better, but I really can't complain to much? Thanks for the replies friend. Check my faves to see what I've been listening to recently.N8

  • @jtminutisme1 Life isn't life without the Fixx.

  • @jtminutisme1 Ha! Me too! Agree fully.

  • this band was way ahead of their time. Never got the credit they deserved for their innovative style.

  • These Guys Rock .... Cutting Edge maybe even still 27 years later

  • THE FIXX IS THE GREATEST BAND EVER

  • @bocasoy1 ...well, ONE of them , anyway!

  • @bocasoy1 Hard to argue that. Okay not ever, but certainly in the top 10. No one tops the Beatles. Tears for Fears is another great under-rated group.

  • The synth work in this song is other worldly.

Rupert deserves respect for the nuance that he adds to the Fixx'x music.

  • @n8tureboy dude i agree 1000%, Rupert is one of the most creative synth players ever imo. I cant think of anyone more original. Any his pointy hairdo rules! love it!

  • @dwilmer7

Love his keyboard brilliance. I also love Thomas Dolby's work as well. I've been a fan since 83' and have yet to see them live...UUGGHHH! There are certain draw backs to living in the sticks.

  • someone with handcuffs whose chained to the past

  • lo maximo THE FIXX

  • gracias desde México
