One of the best movie endings Disney ever came up with, in my opinion. Most of the other classics make me cry and the openings make me feel epic. With Oliver and Company, it's the other way around. I always cry whenever I see Oliver in the box in the rain, but at the end I feel freaking awesome.

You honestly don't get movie's like this anymore. Everything's CGI now. As much as I like 3d, it was old 2d Disney movies that inspired me to be an animator.

That's why i love the disney classics that i have on VHS and the Hanna-Barbera Cartoons. Not that I don't sympathize for those that were most affected by this tragedy, but I believe that the censorship of art of all forms( including this movie) isn't necessary of appropriate. It was made and took place before 9/11, so that towers should have stayed. People are so scared of offending someone that the collective intelligence, wisdom, and morals of our culture suffer because of it.

This is the best closure from any disney movie i've seen. Fagin and his dogs heading off into the city, free of their debts, free to seek their fortunes on the streets. With their cunning and smarts they're gonna be fine :)
