Throughout the rounds his last 60m had been his weakness especially in the semifinal when he tied up badly and finished 4th. I think he was in about 3rd when he cramped so a case can be made for a possible medal, but considering how badly he tied up in his semi i doubt it. Was a little soon for Bolt. I was actually going for Bolt but i never thought he would win.
Obviously you are misinformed. Gatlin is training to comeback when his suspension runs out in a couple months. He is fit - we will see if he is fast or not.

What? Bolt had run 19.99 earlier that year, he was leading that run when he got the injury. Bolt's strength has always been last 60 meters.
