hey dude i am trying to set up my truck for my track and the the little gears scre is stripped any advice?

@rccarsrule1000 the only thing you can do now is drill out the set screw if you cant take it to a hobby store or hardware store they will do it for you

I was trying to figure this exact thing out last night, and was trying to get the darn slipper clutch nut off and then just decided to try and see if the gear would just slide off and wallah! Nice vid

What is ur gearing cuz my rustler has gone through 4 spur gears already and I've only had it for two weeks

But my pinion gear is 19 tooth and my spur gear is 90

@Austincity1234 i recommend converting to 32p gears the gearing has nothing with stripping the gears

@Austincity1234 yea i have a stampede 2wd and i have never striped a gear on it prior to chanmged the pinion... i just make sure that there is a rlly good set of play between the tootch gear if there is alot adjust the motor if theres none move it just a little back and then ur done
