USEFUL TIPS!: IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE CONTROLLING THE BOARD, USE YOUR FRONT FOOT TO PUSH THE BOARD THE WAY IT IS SPINNING AND DON'T LIFT YOUR FRONT FOOT SO HIGH. IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE BOARD LANDING IN FRONT OF YOU, JUMP THE DIRECTION YOUR FACING TO LAND ON THE BOARD. ALSO MAKE SHORE YOUR BACK FOOT IS LIFTED AFTER THE POP AND SHOVE. IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE LANDING ON THE BOLTS, TRY ADJUSTING YOUR FEET BEFORE YOU DO THE MOVE. THE FINAL TIP IS TO PRACTICE AND DON'T GET MAD, TRUST ME, IT HELPS.

@2rude im glad i helped! i havent skated in a while but my favourite trick was a pop shoveit.

Possibilities:

1. your toes are probably too close to the edge of the board. your toes should be in line with the bolts on the deck.

2. in a pressure flip, there is a massive scoop with the back foot, and you push the corner of the tail into the floor, making a kind of kickflip type flip. in a pop shove it, the motion should be simply pop down like an ollie, and push back.

Well, being a skater myself, I know the culture. I can't even count how many times I've gotten a bad look or a "you don't belong here" because I was just riding around and NOT causing trouble. We have quite the reputation. Why do you think cities built skateparks? because they know that we will skate a line anywhere because we love it, and if they provide a designated area, they can control to an extent how and where we operate. ... Just some food for thought.
