@jermells yes it s rear wheel drive,it s all mechanic of 1992 mustang,all suspension maximum motorsport,bear brake five studs,rear disc brake,auburn diff,procharger supercharge,302 forged,t50 trans,king cobra clutch,4 wheel adjustable shock,custom fuel tank.it cost me over 35 000$.i want sell it around 20 000$are you enough crazy for that lolllllll

This is really cool. I am going to look at a red 1999 ZX2 tomorrow. I have an '89 5.0 HO sitting in the garage. If there is any other information on this type of conversion please link us up. I've been studying the Focus ZX3 V8 projects and from what I can tell this looks similar (tunnelled out, gas tank, battery in the rear etc.)

Well guys to be fair, I did buy it for her.

Still it's a pretty good deal.

I'm wanting to do the V8/T56 swap on it but I can't get anyone to show me the under carriage of this one in the video. I've found some Focus ZX3 swaps to look at but there are some differences I need to work out on those builds in comparison to mine.

Don't chop an S/R

ZX2's are cheap get a plane jane to chop. I want mine to be RWD too. Although I think I'll keep the Zetec. Kit builders for the locust 7 make a bell housing to adapt a T5 onto a zetec and use a mercer rear end. Makes much better use of the power the zetec can produce.

It's a yellow pre-production model from SanDiego too. I never wanted to chop it at all but I was willing to put a tranny tunnel in it to get a t-5 installed. I wrestled with the idea of putting the transmission in the rear of the car too. We'll see how it goes.
