What people don't talk about is the fluidity of J.D's swing. Yes not as textbook at the top of the swing as many would teach, but still lots of great things happening. It's unfortunate he's become one of golf's great tragedies. Even if he never wins another tournament, hopefully he can get to a point in life where he's happy and addiction free.

You are spot on! I use to try and have a super controlled swing, and all that did was make me rigid. I now swing free, allow my elbow to fly, and swing way pass parallel. I score lower, and hit the ball much longer.
