Jessica Rabbit was actually based off of Swing Shift Cinderella (or quite possibly, even a parody of her). If you watch the full version, you'll see Jessica wears a similar red dress as Cinderella has on. Also, they're both nightclub singers, although Cinderella's was probably a one-shot deal, as she works at Lockweed Aircraft for a living.

This also came out in 1945, two years before the setting of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit." There's no doubt Jessica was loosely based on her.

Well, also Red Hot Riding Hood too, as technically, that one came first. Riding Hood and Cinderella are more or less the same character, or at the very least, played by the same cartoon actress.

It's really well done, and I'm surprised how well it lines up. But after 2:30 or so, you revert to the non-club scenes, and it's no good any more. You should try putting in clips from the other Tex cartoons.
