  • Rivival UK has started! Please add pro8skate on facebook and help us grow :)

  • Incredible sidestance! Had I started skating half-pipes before I was 16, maybe I could have been this good. I could grind, do handplants, backside, frontside, 360s (both bs and fs), extensions (clutching a wheel and extending the leg), and split extensions. As silly as it sounds, I could never do a rolling drop-in. Started with my Ultimate II speed plates before switching to Santa Cruz (the adjustable bars) with 6" wide trucks.

  • wow, thanks everybody. Keep on rollin...

  • Have your skates been produced for sale yet?

  • Good to see you're still pump'n vert on quads. Only quad vert and snowboarders have any idea what a RUSH it can be to bail with the board attached...lol.

    1st quad 720 = 1980 Seylynn, N.Van, BC Canada. '86 vid with a 900 is here: v=dYJgY2PJ_vk

Keep up the excellent work Brian!

  • Fantastic skating, super style, tricks and air. Going to put some tracker trucks on my quads right now.

  • is there a reason he stands sideways like that.

  • boarding stance. variety of frontside/backside and preference. some switch up and do both... mindboggling!

  • @chingsk8 sorry i thumb downed you by accident and I cant change it!

  • @chingsk8 I think it's to provide more stability by keeping the center of gravity between the skates. When rollerskating, having the center of gravity move forward or back to much means you're going to eat it, so pushing the skates out forward and back like that gives you leverage to keep your balance better.

  • @Skiingarcher it's easier to maneuver, you can pivot on your toes, heels, or lean your trucks. or you can flip your back skate and bring it forward easily enough, too. most agressive quad skaters skate differently than one another, but the "crab" ("spread eagle", "sidewinder") stance is pretty common.

  • Love the video and your vision Brian. I too, share the same vision in Australia and would like to see vert Rollerskating make a comeback. Well done!

  • Longlive, Brian Wainwright and the Farm Ramp crew!

  • Thank you Irene!!!!

Brian is the best rollerskater for many years.

  • that's my DAWG.

  • Gracias por seguir demostrando lo que se puede hacer encima de unos patines a través de los años. Este tío es el amo.
