This is my favorite performance of Jasmine Trias. She rocks!!!!! Between Diana DeGarmo and Jasmine should've gotten it. I have watched American Idol Season 3 and disappointed about that because this 2 women should've been da last 2 standing not Fantasia. In my opinion, the main problem with jasmine is her vocal intensity. Even with Regine Velasquez, you can't help but cringe when you hear them sing during the climax part of songs, not because they off tune, but because they seem to not know how to tone their voices down, and instead of singing, they, for a lack of a better word, shout the melodies. I think if Jasmine, or even Regine finds a way to tone their voices down and stop shouting, they can get more fans and listeners.
I think the only comparison between ramiele and jasmine is that they're both Filipinos. I would have to say that jasmine has more charisma and stage presence that ramiele. Jasmine looks so comfortable and confident on stage. I really hope Ramiele would take this competition more seriously and shape up! Ramiele is a good singer but she has to let the whole world to know.
Because she's young and part of the minority, she's an easy target for this so called "Un-racist" critics. Katherine, Bo bice and Carrie are so perfect... for them.
this is one of the best performance in idol history EVER! I mean where in the world did this voice come from? the moment she opens her mouth you can't possibly tell that it came from a petite girl. Definitely one of the top 10 performance ever.. :)
This performance ade me enjoy music and inspired me to sing (even though I don't do it too well (and am proud to admit it)). Since this performance I've sung at Washington D.C. twice, Japan twice and at several other places some of which I performed alone.
Wow, so this is the song that carried her all the way to Top 3. Well, maybe Top 4, because the crying carried her into Top 3. This was one of AI3's best performances ever, but Jasmine totally went DOWNHILL after this performance.
I think this is the best performance ever on American Idol. No one else comes close; unfortunately all of Jasmine's other songs fell far short too. I could never understand why she was unable to duplicate.
like Jasmine or not, No one can deny with how great her performance was. It became her signature song on AI3, and Simon just said it all, it was "Superb!"
