It´s funny how the mandalorians are similar to the pre WW2 end era empire of Japan.

Burying alive, no mercy for the weak, fighting until the end, dishonour means seppuku, dicipline to make a perfect weapon (Katana is a superior sword).

IRL japanese steel is the strongest, like durian metal in SW universe.

SW universe is clearly a reflection of the earths history.

Jango is in fact a mandalorian, Canderous Ordo is actually Mandalore the Preserver, boba fett becomes Mandalore and is exiled from the planet (Because sidious unleashes a virus that targets clones and boba is technically a clone so he has to be banished, however he still runs the mandalorians and kal'skirata and his adopted sons kidnap a scientist and find the cure...) so he resorts to Bounty Hunter work...

Mandalorians are very similar to the Spartans portrayed in 300. Fighting for the reason of fighting a worthy adversary and never giving up etc. Other than the whole Australian accent thing they are similar in almost all respects.

Surely the fictional "mandalorian civilization" didn´t start with high tech weapons/armor... First came stick, stone and in time projectile weapons.

Earth has had many civilizations like the mandalorians. The empire of Japan (burying alive etc. like in the mandalorian culture) and nazi- Germany are the most recent of these earth empires.

Surely we are not here for one planet only when there´s so much room in the galaxy/universe.

What about darth vader that pretty much slayed half the jedis, slaughtered the Trade Federation and killed Mace Windu that near almost killed Darth Sidious. So no, the clone army was a major part of the plan, but not the main reason why the empire defeated the republic.

@8ballstreet Actually, Sidious killed Windu. And he ONLY managed that with Anakin's help. Besides. Vader didn't kill half the Jedi: he killed the FEW Jedi that survived the Mandalorian army. And I personally feel that anything Vader did, a unit of Clone Commandos (read: Delta Squad) could have done WAY better. Apart from use the Force.

@Awsomeness7180 not exactly true, they both had very different styles of hunting as well as honor and code. for example, Jango was more physically powerful and fast, while Boba was more cunning and intelligent. Jango captured more people, and followed through on more hunts, while Boba did far more in general and survived many more near death situations. Jango accepted all missions while Boba only accepted those that appealed to his sense of honor and duty

I acually downloaded a mod for Mount & Blade which allows you to play in the Star Wars universe and one of the civilisations you can pick to play is Mandalorians. So yeah, you can lead an army of Mandalorians in a huge battle against the Empire, Rebels and Hutts!
