Is she mixing chicken pieces with ribs? What about cross-contamination? Here in the US we are always told that that is a definite no-no.

@szqsk8 "cross-contamination" ?? You know that when you COOK the meat all of the bacteria is killed so it doesnt matter what meets you mix together as long as they are cooked...

Here in the US I have heard that since the beginning of time. Marinate separately, dont re-use the marinade after taking the meat out of it, use separate dishes for the meats when they are raw, etc. Its just a natural reflex now. I wouldnt even consider eating any meat (cooked or otherwise) that had been marinated together in the same bag. Gross!

If there are samonella bacteria in the chicken they are cooked out; is it that hard to imagine that if there is a spread of it onto another meat(such as ribs here) that it will also be cooked out the same way you cook it out in chicken?
