Carter has been my Favorite player for over a Decade. Some of the greatest/creative shots & Dunks ever recorded on film. His style & flare for scoring the basketball truly is one of a kind. Hes a Fu**in Legend. & a top 30 Scorer in nba history. So Dont Fu**in Hate.
I know Vince won't listen, but God I'd do anything to see him work on his leg strength again. Not for the dunks (altough that would be really cool) but to move quick and easy again. @Neptunz05 In the Magic's two wins in the series, Vince scored 3 and 8 points. That should end this discussion. It would've been a 4 game series had the rest of the team not stepped up. It's not like Carter carried Orlando in losses. 23 points was his marquee game. He shot just 40% in the losses, and missed the two biggest free throws of his career to force Orlando into a near impossible situation down 0-2 and headed to Boston.

When the Magic needed to step up, down 3-0, JJ REDICK outscored VC in their 2 wins. That's right. His backup thoroughly outplayed him in the Magic's best wins. Jameer Nelson scored in double figures all but once, and in 3 of those games, scored 20 or more.

First, do you not think it's possible the Hawks got any better over the season because they're a young team? I though it was possible for a team to get better. The team Orlando faced this past season was very different than the one they faced when VC was there.
Carter helped them in the Atlanta series, when they didn't need him, then when they did need him, he crumpled. Also, I forgot his bench? His backup outplayed him. Lol. I'll continue in my next comment.

Secondly, vince doesn't have to score to be helpful to a team. @Neptunz05 Carter was specifically brought to Orlando to do something he failed to do. That justifies him being traded and my feeling he royally fucked the magic over. Everyone knew Vince was the star when it came to the 4th quarter; he was sent to orlando to be that. Not only did he fail doing so, he cost Orlando the series possibly. No matter how you look at it, Carter failed the Magic. And now, people are saying it was stupid to trade him? (which is what i commented on initially)
