Great Jumping! Although, you keep letting your lower leg slip back on your jumping pictures, and your back is slightly round but overall nice work! Your horse is a little beauty :)
The tradional oxer it two verticals, but that can also considered an oxer:
Your doing great. Wow, I can remeber my first time jumping 2 ft, it just gets better. 3 ft is where it really starts to get fun. keep up the good work! Just a couple of friendly pointers, try to keep your leg underneath you and push your heels more downward. Also try to flatten your back slightly and when you do your butt will naturally push out alittle bit more over the saddle, but it all comes in time. keep it up:)
yeah everyone give her a break. it was her first time jumping 2 feet. she did a nice job. just one thing- half chaps [or w/e you would like to call them] are very good to make your leg equitation look better. nice job pushing that horse through it (:
Ty! and i do have some chaps (i call them jodpurs) but i wasnt expecting to be jumping alot today since it had just rained, and we dont normaly jump when it rains...but i do have some! Ty again!
ok if u want to call that an oxer....by the way i would buy some half chaps...also yur leaning to far forward especially after u jump, u dont need to stay in 2 point...2ft isnt high at all
Oh Ive heard that before. Yeah i know, i am, i just havnt been riding that long, and as long as im not doing anything wrong and im having fun, then to me, it doesnt matter about my form.
Its actually not too bad- you just need to flatten your back, stop pinching with your knees, and get your heels down. Cute horse & Keep up the good work!
Wait... which is an oxer?
bigloverxD 2 weeks ago
just a question: how long have you been riding when this vid was taken? :-)

hi i have a conflict with you saying that you jumped a two foot oxer. No offense but jumping a vertical with an X under it is not an oxer. Sorry ;)
JumpingChic101 3 years ago

miasr55 4 years ago
that is not an oxer and like i jumped a little pony whos only like 13 hands tall and i jumped him 2'9"
He had never jumped that high and had a bad back so i think an athletic thoroughbred can jump higher than 2 feet
guesswhoscrazylife1 4 years ago
who said blizz is athletic? And It is in fact an oxer! MY god! It is! And over is an x with a vertical behind it a little bit father! God!
miasr55 4 years ago
ok if u want to call that an oxer....by the way i would buy some half chaps...also yur leaning to far forward especially after u jump, u dont need to stay in 2 point...2ft isnt high at all
myponyrulez525 4 years ago
actualy its high for that horse. Hes never really done high jumps often. And it is an oxer. And i have chaps. But their called jodpurs
miasr55 4 years ago
umm jodphurs are pants and u can were HALF chaps....WHICH GO TO YUR KNEE.
myponyrulez525 4 years ago
umm, I have a pair of jodphurs that go to my knee.
miasr55 4 years ago
there called breeches hun
myponyrulez525 4 years ago
jodhpurs and breeches can be the same thing.
miasr55 4 years ago
actually i think breeches are a little like lighter weight than jodphurs..but yeah basically the same lol.
